    I just ran an update to the newest version of WP and now my page is covered in values from the content section, ie:
    }
    .education_hub_widget_social ul li a[href*=”facebook.com”]:before {
    content: “\f09a”;
    }

    Instead of seeing the facebook icon it just shows ‘f09a’.

    I’m running the Education Hub Pro layout and have activated the license etc. I also updated the theme today.

    Please advise on how to fix this, it’s a site for a very busy school and we need it to look professional 24/7. Thank you!

    It looks like the font-awesome stuff is broken on my site. Is this from the update? Has anyone seen characters instead of the icons before like this?

    Hello @tknuteson,

    We have checked the theme latest version ( V. 2.4 ) and the font-awesome icons are being displayed fine on our side.

    Please provide us your Website URL so that we could inspect your website and further debug the issues.

    Best Regards !!

    We have inspected your website and it is seen that the issue has occurred as the theme styles responsible for the icon display are not being properly loaded in the website.

    Also, the theme’s stylesheet ( style.css ) is showing the theme to be in older version ( ver. 2.3 ).

    To resolve the issue, please make sure your theme has been properly updated to the latest available version ( ver. 2.4 ).

    If the error occurs even after the proper update, kindly check by manually updating the style.css file (cPanel / FTP ) in the theme directory that should load icons normally again.

    Please write back to us if you need any assistance further,

    I ran the update to 2.4 shortly after updating my WP version. This is when the issue started. In order to try and fix it, I reverted the style sheet back to 2.3. This isn’t working (I’ve gone back to 2.4’s style sheet now). Is there something else that would break the font-awesome icons? I’m new to WP so any advice on where to start would help a lot.

    Thanks!

    Also, I’ve tried deactivating my plugins and that didn’t help the font-awesome issue.
