    My site URL is http://www.cosmochics.com, Just when I thought that everything is fine, I discovered that none of the Image links below the main slider were working on android devices. The site seems to be working perfectly on PC, Mac, and iPhones but not on Android. Please check as it is hampering our work big time.

    After the update, all my changes are back to zero…..all the efforts are wasted. I don’t understand why there is a new issue every day. Please look into the matter ASAP as I cannot get into customization every time the theme is updated.
    I can only see the slider now and rest everything is gone. I haven’t even used the CSS, just updated the theme manually.
    Please Revert ASAP

    Hello @garima,

    We are sorry to hear the changes being lost after the update.

    As we recall your previous threads we found you have done custom edits the parent themes manually which was a wrong approach, please refer:

    http://themepalace.com/topic/logged-out-of-the-website/#post-31153

    So previously, we have had suggested you to create a Child Theme for all of your custom changes to be prevented from getting overwrite from future updates in this support thread itself.

    http://themepalace.com/topic/logged-out-of-the-website/#post-31156

    So on such instance, you would need to roll back (if theme backup was taken) to the previous theme, migrate changes to child theme and later update to the latest version.

    Please be informed that in such cases, theme updates are not responsible for breakdowns and cannot preserve user’s custom changes that are made in core.

    If you need any extended support, you can hire a Customizer for further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Since I could not leave my website in such a state, I have done the customizations again. Now another issue that I see is that the images in the posts appear to be on the left side by default, I am selecting the center option manually for the images but after publishing, the again move to the left.

    No, I haven’t done any custom edits thankfully that is why I could get my website back….
    The widgets were very much there in the widget section (unused widgets) so I just had to place them back….but such a situation should not arise with every update is what I mean to say.

    Also please look into the image alignment issue.

    Hello @garima,

    As we have inspected your site we found that you have select option “Full” in Alignment Of Image In Single Post/Page. The theme is working absolutely fine and it is not the theme issue.

    So if you want to place your image in right go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Layout Options > Alignment Of Image In Single Post/Page. and select “Right” from the drop down Option.

    Also go to the individual post/ page and check the settings for the Layout Options . Refer to below screen shot more info:

    Hope this helps.

    For further confusion, please let us know and we will help you.

    Best Regards!!

    1) I want the images within the post to be aligned in the center, which is not in the options (it has only left, right, full and no image)
    2) Just for testing I have changed my settings and selected right, but the images in all the posts still appear to be on the extreme left
    3) The individual post option that you are talking about (one mentioned in the screenshot) is for the featured image, whereas I am talking about the images within the post.
    4) I try to edit the image and select align center for each image, still, it does not move after updating.
    5) It is not possible for anyone to go on 786 posts and pages to manually change the image alignment.

    Thanking in advance!!!!!

    Hello @garima,

    The issue you have mentioned is due to the conflict with the third party plugin.

    However the image can be aligned to center with the use of CSS given below.

    .slingpic .slingpic_reset {
        display: block !important;
        margin: 0 auto !important;
    }
    .entry-content img {
        margin: 0 auto !important;
    }
    .slingpic.subtle.left {
        width: 100% !important;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards!!
