I upgraded from the free to pro version of the eVision theme and cannot get the theme to work as represented in your sales material. Your theme is very expensive and I have found that the free version is a better theme. I’m viewing the site in two different browsers on three different computers and see the same broken problems. Also, this theme has caused me to miss my client’s launch deadline. Specifically, I am having the following problems:

    1) I cannot get rid of the theme name and powered by in the footer because that option doesn’t work. I can turn off everything else in the footer, but not the name and powered by.

    2) I’ve selected full width for Default Layout and full width/no sidebar for Single Page/Post Image Layout but I can’t get rid of the “To Add Sidebar Widget (and click here buttom)” on any interior pages of the site.

    3) I cannot get rid of the banner image on interior pages even when I select “no image” and ALSO delete the image in the Customizer. The image remains on all interior pages.

    4) I can’t figure out how to make the front page menus work. I don’t have any ET menus in my admin as shown in the images of your documentation for this theme so I have no way of knowning what the links are. Your FREE theme is well documented and the link anchors are listed in the readme text comes in the downloaded ZIP file — all of that information is missing in both the readme file and the online support documentation of the EXPENSIVE theme.

    5) You have provided no way for the social media links to open in a new browser window. I don’t want to send my visitors away from my website when they visit my social media links.

How can these issues be resolved?? As you can see, I’m very frustrated with this expensive theme. I was hoping to have improved the website by upgrading and I’m very disappointed instead.

    Hello @SuzieQue,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble after upgrading to pro version.

Possibly such issue can also specifically occur in case of any failure while upgrading to premium version thus settings are not properly saved.

If possible, please share us your site URL so that we could first look into your browser source to diagnose the issue.

If you want our support team to look in your dashboard to check the backend issue, please contact support[at]wensolutions.com with your WP admin credential.

Your other feedback related to documentation will be revised and will be updated as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

I found a temporary workaround myself for my problem #4 about the frontpage links, but the CSS is also not right. Your instructions within the template gives the wrong URLs for the frontpage anchors and your code needs to be corrected so the template creates the correct links, which are missing when the template is configured when making it live (and so the CSS works correctly. It’s frustrating that I have to to fix the code the code myself after paying for the template.

Also, I still have trouble with the following from my original technical support request above:

    2) I’ve selected full width for Default Layout and full width/no sidebar for Single Page/Post Image Layout but I can’t get rid of the “To Add Sidebar Widget (and click here buttom)” on any interior pages of the site.

    3) I cannot get rid of the banner image on interior pages even when I select “no image” and ALSO delete the image in the Customizer. The image remains on all interior pages.

    5) How do I get the social media links to open in a new browser window?

@SuzieQue, new updates with Hot Fix on #1,#2 and #3 issues above is going to be released today. You will get an automatic update notification in your dashboard. Make sure you have implemented the license key for this.

Regarding #5, this is not an issue.

    http://themepalace.com/theme-instructions/evision-corporate-pro/#MenuSection

Go to Menu Section under WordPress admin area.
    (Appearance – > Menus)

Click at the top on “Screen Options”
Under the – “Show advanced menu properties”

You have to check – Link Target.

Close the screen options and comes to your menu link where you will find new option – “Link target” set it to ‘_blank’

Regarding #4, for now it is the same steps to be followed for setting up the menus on the front page as documented in the free theme.

Hello. I bought the template eVisionCorporate Pro. I am trying to set up a template. It is impossible to adjust, menu links are of the form #etdashboard_service-2. How can I change this.

Go to Menu Section under WordPress admin area.
    (Appearance – > Menus)

Click at the top on “Screen Options”
Under the – “Show advanced menu properties”

You have to check – Link Target.

    I did this

Close the screen options and comes to your menu link where you will find new option – “Link target” set it to ‘_blank’

    Here it does not work
And on top of the site there is a small empty area, how to remove it? And it is not running smooth scrolling to the sections.
    Web: vpkservice.com.ua

    Thank you.

    Hello @kruglov.evgen

The above solution you are trying to do is for the social links to be opened in new tab.
Please explain you issue in more detail cause I have inspected your site I don’t see small empty area.
Note: Please create new topic for new issue rather than continuing in the previous thread.

    Best Regards!!

I’ve upgraded to v2.09 — thank you for the new version. Now I have another problem that didn’t exist in the template’s previous version.

    1) I’d like to modify the size of the site-title.

    2) I do not want the site-title to be a link.

    3) I might want to put a logo in place of the site-title text, but I can’t find where I can make the switch.

Please advise me of how to make these three changes.

    Another problem:

I uploaded and enabled a “Site Icon” that shows on the browser tab, but now the “Intro Loader Middle Image” does not display.

    Hello @SuzieQue

As far as I have inspected your site it seems that you have been using old version of WordPress.
Please update your WordPress to latest version. If you update it to latest version you will find additional field in you Customize / Site Identity called Logo which is only available to you in WordPress version equal to or greater than 4.5. Further you can enable/disable site title and tagline from here as well. So by updating you WP version to latest may fix your issues.

And about your Intro Loader Middle Image it is displaying when I see your site as big dog picture?? Am I right?? If not then would you please elaborate you issue.

    Hope this will help you.

    Regards!!!
