Hi there. I’m trying to make a static home page here, and I have disabled all of the other special possible features for the home page in order to display the static home page. However, when I do that, and turn off the header banner image, the entire top of the page is reduced to nothing, with white links for text. When I leave the header banner image on for the “home” page, then I get the situation that appears right now: http://kaderinvestments.com/wordpress/
As you can see, it has the header image and is using it as a background for the title of the site and the primary menu, rather than a color.
Advise? I’m trying to remove all bizlight features for the static front page, as well as the banner image in order to create a clean home page.
Perfect! One last question, I noticed it put the home page on “full screen” instead of indented on each margin like the pages. Is there a way to correct that? (i.e., the text flows all the way to both ends on home page, but is constrained in the other pages) Thanks!
