I would like to use the blog widget that comes with the theme on a page/post as the content. It seems to me that there is no widget area I can put this on. I also tried the Custom Sidebar plug in to create a new custom sidebar. That worked fine, the blog widget showed up. But then the blog widget size covered the whole screen including all other side bars. What is your recommendation using the blog widget on a sub page/post?

    Hello @samuel,

The sub pages only have the sidebar widget area . Those pages does not have any widget area that covers the content area like the front page widget area . If you are okey in showing them at the sidebars then you can definitely place your required widget in Sidebar widget area.

But to have such features as you mentioned requires higher code customization and this is beyond the support offered for our products.

Our suggestion to you is to hire a professional developer for your customization, so that your theme will no be effected in any way.

    We hope it helps,

Thanks for quick response. I assume that was the case. As a work-around I decided to remove the sidebar on this single page and install the amr do widget plugin that can put your blog on the page. The backdraw is that I do not have the sidebar with my news feed and the blog occupies the whole page. But that’s something I can live with.
