Foodland Pro
Foodland Pro is an extremely flexible and customizable WordPress theme best suitable for resturant website and can be used for other purposes also. It is based on responsive design where each element has been carefully configured for perfect display on all devices and platforms. It comes with a wide variety of options so you can modify styling, colors, fonts, featured content, promotion headline, featured slider, pagination, icons, menus, widgets and much more, directly from theme customizer. This theme is translation ready.
Thank you for purchasing the theme. After you purchase and download your theme from Theme Palace you can choose either of the approaches given below to install your theme.
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- Select Add New.
- Then select Upload Theme.
- Click Browse Locate foodland-pro.zip Theme in your computer.
- Select foodland-pro.zip and click Install Now.
You can use FTP client like FileZilla to connect your web server.
- Unzip foodland-pro.zip to your Desktop.
- Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of Foodland Pro Theme.
- Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- You will see the theme in the list.
- Then click Activate button.
- Now the theme will be activate and go through the following options to set up the theme step wise.
Go to Plugins from dashboard and begin installing all the required plugins for the theme (Foodland-Pro). You can see the suggestions of all the plugins which are essential for the theme.

The demo is divided into different section as shown in the image below:
The different sections are described below :
- Site Identity: This site identity section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Site Identity. Refer below How to manage Site Title, Logo, Tagline and Site Icon? for more details.
- Primary Menu Section: For this Primary Menu section you need to create a menu and assign its location to Primary Menu going to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Menus / Menu Location.

Refer below How to manage Featured Slider Options? for more detail. - Promotional Headline Section (ABOUT US): This section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Promotional Headline Options.

Refer below How to manage Front Page Blog Options? for more detail. - Featured Content Section: This section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Featured Content.
Refer below How to manage Featured Content? for more detail. - Footer Widget Section: This section is setup from widget. So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Widgets / Footer Widget #Id. and add widget you like. So in demo the widget are TP:Food items from Menu Section, TP:Additional Social Media and Search in Footer Widget ( 1, 2 and 3 ) respectively.
Refer below How to add Widgets? for more detail. - Footer Copyright Section: To setup this section you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Theme Options / Footer Editor Options.

1. From Customize section, go to Site Identity.
2. From Site Identity, you will be able to add various options related to site identity like:
- Site Title: It changes the main site title of the site.
- Logo ( Only available in WordPress version greater than or equal to 4.5 ): It changes the main logo of the site.
- Tagline: It changes the tagline (i.e:Description) of the site. Just below site title.
- Display Site Title and Tagline: This options shows/hide the site’s title and tagline.
- Site Icon: The Site Icon is used as a browser and app icon for your site. Icon must be square, and at least 512 px wide and tall.
- Check to move Site Title and Tagline before logo: This option moves the Site Title and Tagline before logo.
- Check to disable Title and Tagline when logo is enabled in mobile view: This option disables the title and tagline when logo is enabled in mobile view.
1. From Customize section, go to Colors.
2. In Colors section you will see following options :
- Header navigation color: This option change the header navigation color.
- Header Text Color: This option changes the header text color.
- Background Color: This option changes the background color of the site.
1. From Customize section, go to Header Image.
2. Select the image for Header section available on media library or upload from the other location.
3. If the preview is fine, click on “Save and Publish to apply recently selected/uploaded image as Background Image.
4. Further you will see following options :
- Enable Featured Header Image on: From here you can enable header image on different available option as drop-down. Select on that you would like.
- Featured Header Image Position: This option is for header image position. Select option from drop-down as you would like.
- Featured Header Image Alt/Title Tag: This option is for header image alt/title tag.
- Featured Header Image Link URL: This option is for header image link.
- Check to Open Link in New Window/Tab: This checking this option will open header image link in new window/tab
1. From Customize section, go to Background Image.
2. Select the image for Background available on media library or upload from the other location.
3. If the preview is fine, click on “Save and Publish to apply recently selected/uploaded image as Background Image.
1. From Customize section, go to Menus.
2. From Menus, click “Add a Menu” button and you will be able to create a menu.
3. Now, click Add Items and you will be able to Add or Remove Menu Items according to your requirement.
4. Select the Menu locations.
5. If the preview looks fine, save the changes by clicking on Save and publish button.
1. From Customize section, go to Menus and inside it you will find Menu Locations.
2. Here you can:
- Select the menu for Primary Menu. Primary menu appears as a main menu in header section.
- Select the menu for Footer Menu. Footer menu appears on the footer section.
3. If the preview looks fine, save the changes by clicking on Save and publish button.
1. From Customize section, go to Widgets.
2. From Widgets, you will see different sections to add widget where you will be able to Add a Widget or Remove widgets by going to particular widget section.
3. And the added widget will be displayed in particular section that you have added.
1. From Customize section, go to Static Front Page .
2. From Static Front Page, You will be able to set any page as A Static page and you will find Your Latest Posts page option as well.
1. From Customize section, go to Featured Slider Options.
2. You will see two sections under Featured Slider Options as shown below in figure.
The above Sections are described given below.
1. From Customize section, go to Featured Slider Options -> Slider controls..
2. Under Slider Options you will see:
- Enable Slider on: From here you can select option for enabling slider on from drop-down. Select any option that you would like.
- Transition Effect: This is for the transition effect for the slider (Effect when the slider images changes).
- Transition Delay: This is for the slider image transition delay.
- Transition Length: This is for the slider transition length.
- Loop: This option is for looping of the slider.
- Image Loader: This option is for loading of the slider images.
Note: If you enable slider the this section will appear.
- From Customize section, go to Featured Slider Options -> Slider options.
2. Here you will see different options. They are:
- Select Slider Type: Select Option from the drop down. Available Options are Demo Featured Slider, Featured Post Slider, Featured Page Slider, Featured Category Slider, Featured Image Slider andFeatured Food Menus ( Jetpack ).
- Demo Featured Slider: Selecting this option displays the demo slider.
- Featured Post Slider: Selecting this option will display slider from posts. Further you will get Link Button Text option as well. Note: You need to enter Post Id for this. See the image below.
- Featured Page Slider: Selecting this will display slider from pages. Further you will get Link Button Text option as well. See the below image.
- Featured Category: Selecting this will display slider from category. You can select multiple categories by Holding down the Ctrl (windows) / Command (Mac) button. See below image.
- Featured Images: Selecting this will display slider from image. See below image.
- Featured Food Menus ( Jetpack ): Selecting this option will display slider form Food Menus which will appear after Jetpack plugin install. See the image below.
- No of Sliders: You will see this option in every choices. From here you can select no. of slider to be displayed.
1. From Customize section, go to Promotional Headline Options.
2. You will see following option :
- Enable on: You can select different options from drop-down to enable promotional headline section.
- Promotional Headline Type: Here you can see following options as drop-down.
- Demo: This option will show the demo content in this section. See the below image.
- Page: This option will show the promotional headline from page. You need to Select Page here. See the below image.
- Custom: From this option you can write your custom text, etc for this section. See the below image.
1. From Customize section, go to Today Special Options.
2. You will see following option:
- Enable Special Menu on: You can select different options from drop-down to enable Special Menu Section on.
- Special Menu Title: This is for Special Menu Title. You can write your text for Special Menu Title from here.
- Special menu Type: Here you will see different options as drop-down as following:
- Today Special Demo: This option will show the demo food items in this section. See the below image.
- Today Special Food Menus: This option will show the food items from Custom Post Type Food Menus which will appear after Jetpack plugin. You need to Select Food Items here. See the below image.
1. From Customize section, go to Front Page Blog Options.
2. You will see following option:
- Check to Disable blog options: By checking this option, disables the blog listing section in front page.
- Frontpage Title: This option is for frontpage blog listing main title.
- Select Categories: From here you can select multiple categories to be displayed in front page.
- No of Posts in Frontpage: This option controls the no of post to be displayed in front page blog section.
- Browse All Button Text: This option is for browse all button text.
- Browse All Button Link: This option is for browse all button link.
1. From Customize section, go to Featured Content.
2. You will see following option:
- Enable Featured Content on: You can select different options from drop-down to enable Featured Content section.
- Select Content Type: Here you can see following options as drop-down.
- Demo Featured Content: Selecting this option will display demo featured content in this section.
- Featured Post Content: Selecting this will display slider from posts. Here you need to enter Post ID.
- Featured Page Content: Selecting this will display slider from page. Here you need to select Featured Page.
- Featured Food Menus ( Jetpack ): Selecting this will display slider from Food Menus Custom Post Type. See below image. Here you need to Select Menu Item.
- Featured Image Content: Selecting this will display slider from image. See below image.
1. From Customize section, go to Staff Member Options.
2. You will see following option:
- Enable Staff Member Section on: You can select different options from drop-down to enable Staff Member section.
- Title: This option is for title of the section.
- Select Section Type: You can see following drop-down options:
- Demo Content: Selecting this option will display demo staff content in this section.
- Featured Image Content: Selecting this option will display content from images. Further you will see Layout Option, Position, Name, etc. See the below image.
- Demo Content: Selecting this option will display demo staff content in this section.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see different sections. They are:
The above section are described below :
This option let you use contact form 7 ( CF7 ) in single food menu items page.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Contact form 7.
3. In Contact form 7 you will see:
- Disable CF7: By checking this check-box will disables the Contact From 7.
- Title: This option is for title of the Contact form 7.
- Sub Title: This option is for sub-title of the Contact form 7.
- CF7 Shortcode: This option is for writing the shortcode for Contact Form 7.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Breadcrumb Options.
3. Under Breadcrumb Options you will see:
- Check to enable Breadcrumb: This option enable Breadcrumb on the site.
- Check to enable Breadcrumb on Homepage: This option enables Breadcrumb on homepage as well.
- Separator between Breadcrumbs: This option is for breadcrumb separator.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Custom CSS Options.
3. Here you will see a box to write your custom CSS code.
4. If preview is fine, Click on “Save and Publish” to save the changes.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Excerpt Options.
3. Under Excerpt Options you will see:
- Excerpt Length (words): This option controls the no.of words to be displayed in blog listing page.
- Read More Text: This option is for Read More text.
- Slider Excerpt Length ( Words ): This option controls the excerpt length words in slider section only.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Font Family Options.
3. Under Font Family Options you will see different section of which you can font family. Further more you will see check-box to reset font to their default values. See below image.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Footer Editor Options.
3. Under Footer Editor Options you will see box to write Footer Content. See below image.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Layout Options.
3. In layout Options you will see:
- Archive Content Layout: This option is for archive content layout. Here you can see different options select one that you would prefer.
- Single Page/Post Image Layout: This options is for single page/post image layout. Select option that suits your site.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Pagination Options.
3. In Pagination Options you will see options as drop-down. Select one of your choice.
Note : For Infinite Scroll – Scroll and Infinite Scroll – Click you need to install JetPack – Infinite Scrollplugin and for Numeric you need to install WP-PageNavi plugin.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Scrollup Options.
3. In Scrollup Options you will see a check-box Check to enable Scroll Up which will enable go to top button.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Search Options.
3. In Search Options you will see Default Display Text in Search.
4. If the preview is fine, click on “Save and Publish to apply the changes you have made.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Social Links Options.
3. In Social Links Options you will see different social links options. See the below image.
1. From Customize section, go to Theme Options.
2. From Theme Options, you will see Update Notifier Options.
3. In Update Notifier Options you will see a check-box Check to disable update notifications which will disable the theme update if you check this check-box.
1. From Customize section, go to Reset all settings.
2. From Reset all settings, you will see a check-box Check to reset all settings to default.
3. Checking this check-box will reset all settings to its default values.
Note: You need to refresh the page to see the changes.
To update Theme through FTP, follow these basic steps:
- Download the latest version of Foodland Pro from your Theme Palace member My-Account to your Desktop
- Unzip foodland-pro.zip to your Desktop.
- Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of
Foodland Pro Theme which shall replace the old files.
