I bought the pro version and can barely get anything to show up. For example, I have the Author Message enabled and nothing is showing up. My Recent posts aren’t appearing either, and it’s also enabled. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.

First of all thank you very much for using the theme.
When we tested the option that you have mentioned, it was working absolutely fine. You can either use the post, page or the custom data to display in this section.
When we selected the page or post the content and the image comes from the individual page, post edit screen.
