The update has caused pages that include the picture header in the upper portion of the page to sometimes load the page without an image that I have set (5 specific pictures) This makes the body text mash up with the Site Identity Boxes near the center of the picture header section would normally be.

When we checked the latest version of the theme locally we are unable to find such issue .
So please post your site URL so that we could inspect further .

You are having such issue because there is no image in the header so it gets overlapped with the content area.

The image shows in the header pages setup and in the media folder along with 4 others for a total of 5.
Just to follow up, this is random. I chose, new images using the Customizing Header Image tool on your theme. Chose new photos that are in my media files, cropped them appropriately. Published. And it happens still, randomly.
If the theme isn’t saving the cropped images correctly or serving them up correctly it’s still a theme issue. I now have only 4 images in the gallery set to randomly upload to header.
Sometimes I get to see all 4 load up, and other times I see the page mashed together.
If you are saying that the file you mentioned above is not there at all…then it would never have shown the image header on any page load. However, it did. it shows the image at random times, sometimes it did, sometimes it didn’t. Just like all of the new iamges, sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.

The issue might also have caused due to conflict with the third party plugin.
So if you have installed any third party plugin then please deactivate and verify the issue.
