Is there a way to edit the image that is show when I send someone a link to my website?
When I send my link as a text on my phone, it displays one image (The one I want.)
When I send a link through Instagram or Facebook messenger, it displays a different image from my home page that I don’t want. I’ve even tried setting the wanted image as my featured image and it doesn’t change.

Hello, @SQUATSANDHOPS Please go to customizer >> Homepage Settings ( Choose static page ), and in the homepage area please choose that front page as a home page which you have created and set the featured image that you want to display.
If the image does not get changed instantly please wait for an hour or so for the cache to get cleared.Regards,

I did these steps last night with no luck.
I’ve gone to customize >> Homepage Settings and set my home page as a static page. (There is no option to set a featured image here.)
I then went through the page editor and set my featured image. The featured image gets sent through SMS text when I send the link via phone. However when I send the link via a social media messaging app (Instagram or Facebook) it still uses an old picture. At one point I even deleted the unwanted picture from my page completely and it was still being sent.
Hello, @SQUATSANDHOPS Could you please install the Yoast SEO plugin ( Go to plugin and add new plugin ). After installing the plugin go to the home page, scroll to the bottom of the page where you can see Yoast SEO Settings under which you will see a social tab, and set the featured image that you want to display.

ThemepalaceI’ve already had the Yoast SEO plugin activated and installed. I even tried setting the options there. It is still pulling the wrong image and text description.
Could your please send your site Url and also the preview image that you want to show when sharing your site link.
