Hello.
I’m not sure exactly when it started happening, but I’m noticing the Preview function for page editing is no longer working. If you edit a page, and click the Preview button, the preview looks exactly as it did prior to your changes. If you click Update, the updates do take effect, and are saved. It’s just the Preview function that doesn’t seem to work anymore.
I searched around regarding the issue, and other forums pointed to an installed theme being the problem. They recommended using the Health Check plugin to try doing it with the theme disabled. So, I did that, and found that the issue only occurred with Education Hub Pro was used. When I switched to the Twenty Nineteen theme, Preview worked just fine.
I did a screen capture, demonstrating the issue. You can see it here…
https://youtu.be/1sUXmgC8LnYAny thoughts? We have Education Hub Pro v3.0 installed. No updates waiting. We are using WordPress v5.1.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the delay in response.
Regarding your query, when we checked the issue in our side, everything seems to work perfectly well.
Please refer to the given screenrecord : https://www.useloom.com/share/4d98fa84bcad43efb3a7580735ea2041
The issue might have raised because of the third party plugins so if you have installed any third party plugin, kindly deactivate and verify the issue.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Regards!!
March 6, 2019 at 9:49 pm #92506rvcsParticipantI just triple checked everything. No plugins are activated, and it still has the Preview issue, but only when using the Education Hub Pro theme.
From your screen recording, which version of WordPress were you using? Is it possibly an issue that only occurs starting with WordPress 5.1?
-= Brandon.
March 7, 2019 at 2:19 am #92523wensolutionsKeymasterHello @rcvs,
We checked with the recent version of the WordPress.
So please once check in the recent version of the WordPress.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Thank you.

March 7, 2019 at 8:56 am #92544rvcsParticipantSpecifically, which version of WordPress did you test with? Are you able to test with 5.1?
-= Brandon.
March 7, 2019 at 10:27 pm #92568wensolutionsKeymasterHello @rvcs
We tested in WordPress version 5.1 and everything worked perfectly fine.
Please once verify the issue in your side and let us know,
Regards!!
March 7, 2019 at 10:39 pm #92569rvcsParticipantI’m not sure how I’m supposed to verify the issue beyond what I already have. That’s why I’m posting the post, asking for help. I’ve already demonstrated the issue, and shown how it only occurs with this theme enabled. I’ve also confirmed that no plugins are enabled.
What else are you asking for?
-= Brandon.March 8, 2019 at 5:51 am #92694wensolutionsKeymasterHello @rvcs,
We would like to apologize for the inconveniences.
We will look for the issue more precisely in a different setting and let you know.
Thank you.

March 14, 2019 at 1:35 am #93066rvcsParticipantAre there any updates on this matter yet?
Thanks again,
-= Brandon.March 14, 2019 at 7:06 am #93090wensolutionsKeymasterHello @rvcs,
Have you checked the issue in the default theme? Please once check the issue in the default theme as well.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
March 14, 2019 at 10:35 am #93133rvcsParticipantI’m not certain what you mean by the Default Theme. As I mentioned in my initial post, the issue did NOT occur when using the Twenty Nineteen theme. Was there a different theme you wanted me to try?
-= Brandon.

Thank you.
March 15, 2019 at 2:23 am #93175wensolutionsKeymasterHello @rvcs,
Thank you for the login detail.
When we inspected the issue precisely, we found that the issue is not of the theme but from the core. The issue has arisen only after the update to Gutenberg editor. It works p[erfectly fine with the classic editor. We tested the issue with multiple other themes as well.
But with the default theme, there is no issue with the Gutenberg editor as well.
Since it requires a lot of research on resolving the issue since the issue comes from the core, as for now, you can use the classic editor as an alternative. We will let you know as soon as we come up with the fix.
Thank you.
March 15, 2019 at 2:23 pm #93220rvcsParticipantThank you very much. Yes, this does indeed seem to be the issue.
Until the overall issue is addressed, I’m able to workaround the issue by installing the Classic Editor Plugin. Preview now works correctly.
Thanks,
