schadenfreudeParticipant
I’m using opera, where it mysteriously shows up, but once I checked in other browsers it’s fine. Thank you!
schadenfreudeParticipantthe white bars (circled in red) are the bars I want to get rid of.
schadenfreudeParticipantThank you! That did work for the tops of the border but the inside parts (facing the center) are still visible.
schadenfreudeParticipantI have also tried to use the unicode for this button: here.
If none of these are doable, is there a way to put a paypal donate button with paypal’s provided html/icon?
<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="_top"> <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick"> <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="XXGDJXA3V39TS"> <input type="image" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donateCC_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!"> <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1"> </form>
I’d prefer the font awesome icon because the paypal button is kinda ugly
but y’know whatever works.Unrelated, but I’m thinking of upgrading to the pro theme because it has a store and is generally awesome: would I lose all of my work and have to start over (with the customization?)
Thanks!
schadenfreudeParticipantHa I figured it out! I wish fontawesome had a patreon option though! Thanks for your help!
schadenfreudeParticipantOkay, I have my child theme. I’ve got my ftp client, I found the css.xml . However, I’m not sure how to edit it to add the etsy and patreon icons.
1) What program do I use?
2) where would I need to store the icon jpgs or what have you?
3) what code would I have to put in?Sorry, I’m really terrible at this stuff. Trying to figure it out!
schadenfreudeParticipantAlso, http://www.schadenfreudeart.com is my website, sorry for leaving that out!
schadenfreudeParticipantI saw this post http://themepalace.com/topic/font-awesome-and-the-social-menu-500px-and-other-logos/ from earlier, and then looked up the info on how to create a child theme, but I can’t seem to find the /wp-content folder even under my hosting service. 🙁
schadenfreudeParticipantThanks again!
schadenfreudeParticipantNevermind, figured it out. I have other issues but I imagine you’d want me to start a different post for that?
schadenfreudeParticipantThanks again! I do have more questions (sorry!)
I am not sure how to get my categories to work. I have categories listed, and I’m using a plugin media library categories which has put ‘categories’ under the appropriate menu, but when I click said categories ‘Nothing Found’ comes up.
Thank you!
schadenfreudeParticipantIt does help, thank you! If I wanted to add drop down options under categories, how would one go about that?
