I have specified a Static Page to use as front page but rather than displaying the page specified, it is displaying Posts, it was working before the upgrade to version 1.2 but now it seems to be always using ‘Your latest posts’
Hello,
Have you tired to disable the “Show Blog Listing on home” from
Dashboard => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Home Page => Show blog listing.This might be the reason why the latest post are being show on the home page, removing the check from the check box will disable the latest post on home page.

Yes, I did and have just retried,
if Show Blog Listing is ticked, then homepage would show blog &
if Show Blog Listing is not ticked, then homepage content is blank, so nothing I specified from the Static Page is shown.Thanks.
