    Hi,
    My site is : http://www.mvb1.de

    1. I activated a Background Image but it is not shown at all. Fiddled around for hours now but I have no idea
    2. If the Bgd-Image shows up: How could I restrict it to the bottom of the main content, so directly above the footer widget.

    Hello.

    Actually, when we inspected the site URL you have provided, we found that the background image is appearing in your site as you can see in screenshot below but it has been hidden due to presence of different sections like ‘All photo albums in the overview’ section, ‘Latest touring and travel reports’ section etc.

    So, please once verify the issue by disabling those section.

    Also, as for now the feature you have requested regarding restricting background image to the bottom of main content is not available.

    Hello,
    No, it’s different.
    The BGD is defined by div#content.site-content
    I can change the colour of this by the theme settings > Customizer > Color options > Content color options > BGD color options.
    So, it is content. BUT, I never added this content. Although, it is called so. Neither I find a setting to switch it off.
    Where is the setting to switch that off???

    Actually, we are not quite clear with the issue. So, can you please explain in detail with screen shot which content are you referring to?

    Also, can you please mention the theme you have used in the site?
