Hello, i am new in wordpress and i am trying to change the theme background color but does not apply the changes. Apply a background image does not work either.
I’m using the Custom option> Colors as documentation and I’m in a test environment using local server?.
Are there any changes should I do?

Background color and images are displayed only if you have selected Boxed layout in theme options. In Fluid layout, background color is used as in the CSS file. If you want to customize background color in Fluid layout then put your custom CSS in Custom CSS under Theme Options -> Advanced.

Hi, I’ve tried using boxed layout and fluid and I can’t get the background color right. I just want a white background. I like the way fluid looks instead of boxed but it seems like neither even show up. It shows up in the preview in the dashboard, but not on the actual site. I just want a white background in fluid. Thanks.

The background color is working fine for us with the fluid layout and with boxed-layout as well. You can see the attached screenshot: http://prntscr.com/a1aloi
However, you should click ‘Save and Publish’ button everytime after making any changes in the customize section. Else the effect won’t appear on the site at the front-end.Let us know if you need any help.
