I see the photos in the demo in the Categories menu items display with a Link and Eye overlayed on them and when hovered over with the mouse they zoom in.
What makes all that happen?
Why are they different in Categories than the photos in Menu > Gallery?Hello @dlindphoto,
The feature you have mentioned is the feature of theme itself . If you include the category with the posts created in the category drop down , you will also have the same feature in the category page as in the demo.
The gallery page that is included in the menu is created from Admin Panel > pages . Here in the particular page you can create the gallery .

And the gallery that is shown in the category page comes from the featured image section of the posts that are assigned to that category .
