I thought I read that this theme education hub pro was compatible with woocommerce? It keeps failing when I try to install it.
April 1, 2016 at 3:15 am #4535wensolutionsKeymasterHello @regbert,
It looks like there’s already a woocommerce folder in your plugins folder, probably from an earlier failed attempt. You need to delete that folder. Use a FTP client software like Filezilla to access the server directories. Navigate to wp-content/plugins and delete the woocommerce folder. Afterwards you should be able to install the plugin without any problem.
If the above troubleshooting method don’t solve your issue, post the error message you’re getting with screenshot here.
Regards.April 1, 2016 at 3:50 pm #4566regbertParticipantThank you for your clear and quick response. I had to build the site from a new install and everything seems to be in order. However I would like to know how you got the graphic to display below the lower title bar? I can not get it to display the way you have it in the demo. Thanks great theme.
April 2, 2016 at 1:12 am #4607wensolutionsKeymasterI guess you are talking about the section just below the slider. If so, you should have the featured image assigned to the posts that will appear as a thumbnail.
Choice for this section is controlled from Customizer -> Featured Content section.
Hope this helps !

April 6, 2016 at 8:58 pm #4934regbertParticipantI have been trying to learn the different layouts I can have on Education Pro and so far I have mostly set it up the way I like. I am having a little trouble with the front page and some of the menu layout . Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
In order to sell books, I want to have a set of categories with thumb nails for the genre that when clicked on will take you to a shop page with only that genre i.e. one for Fiction, one for Health, one for non-fiction etc. etc. Is this posable with this template using woo commerce? If so can you give me some direction on accomplishing this?April 7, 2016 at 12:00 am #4935wensolutionsKeymaster@regbert – Education Hub Pro is fully compatible with woocommerce plugin. Here’s the process of setting up the woocommerce:
1. After activating the woocommerce plugin, navigate to Products -> Categories -> Add New Product Category
2. Next, set up the category “Fiction” and upload the feature image for the category.
3. To add new category “Health” repeat the same process.
4. After you are done with all the category set up, you need to add the individual books
5. Go to Products-> Add Product, then assign it the Product Category before Publishing it.
6. Similarly, repeat this process for all of your individual book.
7. Now the selected Books from Genre category with feature image will be displayed on the front end. You need to set up the remaining process to redirect the user to the shop page from this page. You can find the process of managing woocommerce products and detail guide here:

April 8, 2016 at 7:56 pm #5104regbertParticipantI was not as clear as I should have been. First I did as you said but all the categories are mixed together. Regardless, what I am trying to do is have a list of categories down the left side of the page. I could end up with as many as 75 categories. I will also need categories for DVD, CD, Books and audio books. When you select a category or subcategory it should take you to a shop page with only that category or genre. Is it possible to do this?
Also I noticed that it has become very slow to load a page and even longer to change a menu and reload 20 – 30 seconds)
Thanks again, so far its been coming along real well
http://read-teach-do.com/April 9, 2016 at 8:36 am #5116wensolutionsKeymasterThere is already a widget available for it.
Have you tried adding the widget called WooCommerce Product Categories where required on your homepage ?
This lists the product categories you have created which when click will take you to the shop page with items belonging only to that category.
