To remove the events section/news section you can disable the sections by following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Homepage Option and disable the events section and news section.

Regarding removing the blog section, we are not quite clear about this query so can you please explain in detail about the issue.

To add text to the front page below the featured boxes on the front page, you can add the text widget by following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Front Page Widget Area and add the text widget and content which will appear just below the featured content.

I have a question: Is it possible to put some content (news ticker or an image for example) above the featured content or the news and events featured widget on the home page? At the moment, when I choose to have a featured content or news and events, it is always on the top, so I need to change that, if it is possible. Thank you!

As you can see on the pics, the new&events and featured content as well, are above my news ticker slider. I’d like my news ticker slider to be above all this content, at the top of the main page.
