I’ve looked in every menu on the sidebar and can’t find a way to edit/delete/do anything to the categories menu on the right. I’ve just installed/updated the theme so my website is only half finished.
I saw another post about editing the categories title, which suggested installing a child theme under a sub directory. I can’t find a way to even make a sub directory! I am technologically challenged unfortunately.

The Photo Perfect theme already comes with an option to display or remove the category menu from a simple setting in a theme customizer. You do not need to create sub directories or a child theme for the simple task.
To remove the categories menu simply go to your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Header Options and uncheck the “Show Category Dropdown” option.
Save and publish your changes and the categories menu in the right will be removed from the website.

It does help, thank you! If I wanted to add drop down options under categories, how would one go about that?

The menu option mentioned above does lets you display your categories in the dropdown layout to access it directly from the header menu location.
Also, the menu shows on the hierarchical order for the sub categories under the categories.

I am not sure how to get my categories to work. I have categories listed, and I’m using a plugin media library categories which has put ‘categories’ under the appropriate menu, but when I click said categories ‘Nothing Found’ comes up.
