Hi, there seems to be a big bug I need fixed.
I’d like to have two NB:RecentWorks widgets on my front page — one is for Our Specialties and one is for Featured Therapies and Treatments”
I know that there is a drop-down category selector in the widget. However, it seems broken. No matter what I select, my most recent posts show up, even if they are news, testimonials, or whatever. Obviously, that makes my page look very amateur, to have a testimonial show up when I’m trying to feature my specialties.
I need the widget to be category-specific or it is worthless to me.
Please test this on your end and guide me towards the fix, or send out an update ASAP.
Thank you!
ErikaAugust 10, 2017 at 12:11 am #50044wensolutionsKeymasterHello @erikamarie,
As far as we have checked the theme locally it is working absolutely fine .
So if you have installed ant third party plugin please deactivate them and verify the issue as the issue might have cause due to conflict with the third party plugin .
If this does not solve the issue then please post your site URL so that we could look further into the issue .
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
Have a good day .
August 10, 2017 at 4:08 pm #50155Erika MarieParticipantHello,
I do not have many third party plugins. I have Jetpack, Askimet, SumoMe, Vaultpress, and The Events Calendar.
I installed The Events Calendar because your Events widget cannot do future events, only past events. (If I’m wrong, please correct me. I tried to schedule future events and it did not work.)
Because the Events Calendar utilizes its own Categories within its own plug-in, I thought it might be the issue.
I deactivated The Events Calendar to test for a conflict but it did not fix the issue. I also unchecked the box that would have the Events Calendar’s events added to the regular blog roll, and that did not fix the issue either.
I am going to reactivate it so you can look at it as I’d like my site to be.
Right now, I am only using one “NB:RecentWorks” Widget as I decided to use “Featured Pages” for my other grid. But even so, Recent Works needs to only select from “Our Specialties.” I cannot have Testimonials and News showing up where my specialties are supposed to be.
I’d really appreciate a fix asap. Thank you!

August 11, 2017 at 3:06 am #50206wensolutionsKeymasterHello @erikamarie,
Firstly we would like to apologize for the trouble .
The issue has been noted as known issue and we are currently working on this . We will be releasing the update fixing the issue soon and we will let you know.
Hoping for your co-operations.
Best Regards!!
August 13, 2017 at 4:40 pm #50387Erika MarieParticipantThank you very much.
I will be eagerly awaiting the update.
I would like to publish my site Weds Aug 16th. If I do not have a solid fix by then, I may abandon your theme/company for a different one. If that happens, I’ll be contacting you for a refund. I’m not jazzed that you published a theme for sale that has such an obvious technical problem. My next step is to open a Woocommerce store on my site and now I wonder if I will discover hidden issues once I activate that function, too.
I need a site that works and I need it to work ASAP. Every day my site is down is a day of lost opportunity. Every day I build on a site that I’m going to abandon is a day of wasted time.
I hope – for both of us – that the update is available soon. If your customer service and troubleshooting is top-notch and the site runs well once it goes live, I will remain a grateful customer.
Looking forward to some positive news,

Could you please provide a link to the update? I do not see where I can download an update.
Best,
ErikaAugust 14, 2017 at 10:10 pm #50630Erika MarieParticipantHello again,
I found the zip file for version 1.2 under My Account in TP, and I downloaded it, but doing it that way doesn’t work.
I need you to put out an update to my current installation.
I can’t re-install Nature Bliss Pro — when I tried, WP informed me that I already have a destination folder of that name.
And I don’t want to create a new folder and lose all my work to date.
Please just publish an update that will work with what I’ve already installed. WP should inform me (under “Updates” or under “Themes” in my Dashboard) when an update to my current theme is available, just like any other plug-in or theme. My license key is active so that I can get updates.
I shouldn’t have to re-upload and start the whole darn thing over. Please assist.
Thank you,
ErikaAugust 15, 2017 at 6:00 am #50676wensolutionsKeymasterHello @erikamarie,
The update of the theme has already been published . If your theme license has not been expired then you will automatically receive automatic theme updates. So you can simply click in update button and update your theme to the latest version .
You can also update the theme manually by downloading the theme and replacing the current folder using FTP .
Also we have fixed the issue in the update .
Hope this helps .
Best Regards!!

“If your theme license has not been expired then you will automatically receive automatic theme updates. So you can simply click in update button and update your theme to the latest version.”
Thank you so much and I wish this were true. I entered my theme license shortly after installing NBPro and it is not expired. BUT it is not automatically updating. There is also no update button showing up.
Please check to be sure you have properly published the update. WP is not recognizing that an update exists.
I will be checking often to see when its been resolved. Please fix ASAP. I am counting on it.
Thank you,

I submitted my login credential to your email address as you asked and I haven’t heart back, and WordPress still says that my site has the latest update when its only running 1.1 not 1.2.
I need a fix for this issue TODAY.
Please reply ASAP. I appreciate your help. If we cannot resolve this today, I will have no choice but to begin rebuilding with a different theme this weekend. PLEASE Prioritize.
Thank you!

September 1, 2017 at 2:28 pm #52290Erika MarieParticipantHi all,
I just want to thank you all for your dedicated assistance in helping me fix this issue. I truly appreciate your efforts!
I want to let you know that I was able to update the theme by reverting to the twentyseveteen theme, and not only deactivating but DELETING my NatureBlissPro theme file. I was nervous to do it, but it was the only way the system would allow me to upload the new NatureBlissPro update.
Now the issue is fixed. Site looks great. Thank you so much!
Best,
