    Hello – We’re trying to center a table that contains 3 pictures on the homepage. Client didn’t want to use the Post pictures method because those are automatically made into links.

    All we want is to have the 3 photos centered. No matter what I’ve tried they shift one or another – left or right. Different browsers show the it differently as well. Never had any trouble centering something before. Until now.

    Tried to center table using css, in-line and stylesheet, as well as coding – align, vertical-align, text-align, etc. Nothing works.

    I’ve also tried doing it as a div (no table) and just about every other way I can think of. Anybody know why the homepage content area doesn’t allow centering?

    Thanks for any help –

    Hello @joncook808,

    To center the images use below given CSS,

    For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.

    table#tablepress-3 {
        margin-left: 70px;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    If you have any issue further, please let us know.

    Best Regards!!

    Thanks for the suggestion, but now it’s dramatically to the right when viewed in IE in Windows. Why doesn’t Align work to center it?

    Any other possiblities? This has gone on for weeks without a solution.

    Still having problems. It looks fine for me in Firefox & Chrome (Mac) as well as IE on my other laptop (Windows). The problem is that Deanne’s browser still has it shifted right, way off-center.

    I asked here what she’s using:

    Internet Explorer 11 Version: 11.1066.14393.0, Updated Versions: 11.0.41

    She sent me a screen capture of it and the right side photo has half of it going past the edge of the header image above.

    What else can be done?

    Thanks

    Hello @joncook808,

    While checking the site in the Internet Explorer 11 version:11.0.10240.17319, Updated Version: 11.0.40,
    We did not find any issues as you have mentioned.

    It is also possible that the issue might have been caused in the specific browser due to caching.Please check the site by clearing the browser cache and see if the issue is resolved .

    If it also does not resolve the issue, please let us know so that we could debug further.

    Best Regards!!

    It’s still off after clearing the cache in her browser. Is there anything else that can be done?

    Hello @Joncook808,

    As the issue seems to be caused only in a particular browser and as we have also tested the site for the issue with multiple devices through multiple browsers without the issue, we are quite unable to provide precise fix for the issue.

    You can try clearing the server caching also ( if possible ) or maybe try with fresh IE installation that might resolve the particular issue.

    Hope you would understand,

    Best Regards !!
