Hi,
Currently have the melos theme installed, not loving it, but have perfected all of the meta data and SEO.
If I change to your theme – will i lose all of this information??
Thanks!November 2, 2017 at 12:50 am #57214wensolutionsKeymasterHello @nic5790,
If you have added the data through the plugin then it will not be lost even after switching the theme .
But if you have added the content through the theme customization or made the change within the theme file the it will definitely be lost upon switching the theme .
Hope this clears up the confusion .
Best Regards!!

November 6, 2017 at 5:33 am #57446wensolutionsKeymasterHello @nic5790,
Since slider in the theme is set up from the pages , the caption in the slider comes from the content included in the content area of the page edit screen .
So to edit the content go to Admin Panel > Pages > All Pages and to the individual pages that you have chose to display in the slider and change the content included in the content area of the edit screen .

November 6, 2017 at 5:42 am #57447Nic5790ParticipantHow much text does it pick up? Some of my pages have tonnes of content.
November 6, 2017 at 5:53 am #57448Nic5790ParticipantAlso – unfortunately.. it doesn’t pick up from the text, it picks up the SEO title.. I can’t change the SEO title when we are ranking so well! @wensolutions what to do now 🙁
November 6, 2017 at 6:03 am #57449Nic5790ParticipantPlease help! I’ve just ruined a website now.. And I don’t know what to do!!
November 6, 2017 at 6:08 am #57450wensolutionsKeymasterHello @nic5790,
The caption that is displayed in the slider comes from the content area section of the page as we have mentioned in the above replies .
Make sure to select the appropriate pages to display in the slider including the proper content in the content area .
Also as we do not find issue from our side please post your site URL so that we could inspect and help you further .
Best Regards!!
November 6, 2017 at 6:10 am #57451Nic5790Participant100% it is coming from the SEO title not the content 🙁 how can I send you images??
November 6, 2017 at 6:13 am #57453Nic5790ParticipantUnderneath my content I have all in one SEO pack. This is where the title and meta data is. This is where the page is picking up info.

November 6, 2017 at 6:20 am #57458Nic5790ParticipantUgh it bounced!! The website won’t show you the SEO as that’s in the cms http://www.alltypemachinery.com.au
November 6, 2017 at 6:51 am #57459wensolutionsKeymasterHello @nic5790,,
As we do not find the issue when we checked locally using the SEO plugin, the issue might have cause due to conflict with the third party plugins installed .
So, please try disabling them one by one and check you site if the issue is fixed. If the issue is fixed you will know the exact plugin that have created the issue.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
November 7, 2017 at 5:43 pm #57555Nic5790Participant@wensolutions Okay will try this.
Also – how can i make my logo bigger in the top RHS? I’ve resized it to the suggested 150x150px.. but as you can see on the website, it is tiny.. Thanks! -
