    you know, the three horizontal lines that appear on smartphones in lieu of the regular menu. I saw a thread which included helpful css changes but NOT exactly what I wanted for the bars themselves

    this is the code presented

    /* CSS For Changing the menu icon Bar on mobile */

    @media only screen and (max-width:900px) {
    #mobile-trigger {
    background : #CC0000 none repeat

    }
    }

    this is good to change the background of the bars but not the bars themselves

    which remain orange

    Hello @jimd,

    To change the mobile menu trigger bar colors in WEN Associate theme, you can paste in the following custom CSS in your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
#mobile-trigger .fa.fa-bars {
    color: #0917e6;
}
}

    You can change the color of the bars to your desired color by changing the color hex code.
