Two remaining questions. I built my site as a parent, rather than child, site. Is there any way for me to now “copy” it as a child site, or do I have to rebuild it as a child site?
A related question: a friend likes my site. Is there a way I could “copy” it, so he could put it on his domain (then tailor it to his needs)?
Thank you.

Please find answers to your queries below:
Query 1. I built my site as a parent, rather than a child, site. Is there any way for me to now “copy” it as a child site, or do I have to rebuild it as a child site?
Response: Regarding your query, you have to set up the homepage from the child theme from the customize section. There is no such copy and paste for the child theme from the parent theme. We recommend the child theme usually while you make changes in the code because on every update you will lose the changes you made. Also, after creating the child theme you will get the theme the same as the parent theme but you have to manually make changes as per your requirement.
Query 2. A friend likes my site. Is there a way I could “copy” it, so he could put it on his domain (then tailor it to his needs)?
Response: Regarding your query, you can import-export your site in order to make exactly like the previous site. You can export the site and import it to the new site. For that, you can use the import-export plugin.
Hope this helps.
If you have any queries, kindly let us know.
Thank you.
April 29, 2020 at 11:58 am #122091bassinlaParticipantMy first issue is that when I tried to log into the ThemePalace forum, it went to a page saying “JetPack has locked my login page” (see screenshot https://prnt.sc/s83ruh).
But I am responding to your last email reply to me. I have copied your reply below, because I don’t see it in this chain.
If it true that I can “copy” my site by using an Export/Import plug in, would I be able to export my current site, which was written as a Parent, and then import it as a Child?
Where do I find the Export/Import plug in?
Thank you.

April 29, 2020 at 12:01 pm #122092bassinlaParticipantSorry for the confusion in my last post about not being able to see the most recent part of the chain. When I submitted my last post, my previous post, and your answer, showed up above.
That said, I still have the question about why the Jetpack page showed up, and whether I can use an Export/Import plugin to export my Parent site, and import it as a Child site.
Thank you.
DavidApril 30, 2020 at 1:53 am #122141wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Regarding showing the Jetpack page while logging, you can write your email in the box and send an email from where you’ve sent the screenshots.
Regarding your previous query, you can use import-export plugins recommended by WordPress to make all setting the same on another site. But while creating a child theme, you will get a copy of the initial parent theme and have to manually shift only the customizations(changes in code) in a child theme.
If the issue still persists you can make a query at info[at]themepalace.com
Regards.
