I installed Envira gallery plugin and when I open a photo, two galleries emerge….Can I disable the native lightbox and use only the Envira one?
March 7, 2018 at 5:41 am #67397wensolutionsKeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
To disable the lightbox feature in the theme you have to go through the child theme.
You can create the child theme manually or simply create the child using the plugin mention below:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-child-theme-generator/
After activating the child theme Replace all the code in your child theme functions.php with the code given below.

After that create the file custom.js in your child theme and paste below given code .

Hope this helps.

March 7, 2018 at 10:31 pm #67444wensolutionsKeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
No, all of the post, pages that you have created from the admin panel will be there as it is. You simply need to create the child theme and activate and then set up the theme by choosing the page, post that you have created previously for the parent theme.
Also, we always strongly recommend using the child theme for any modification in the parent theme so that your original parent theme remain safe and secured and whatever modification you would like to bring in the theme can be performed through the child theme.
Hope this helps.
If you have any confusion further, please let us know.
Best Regards!!
March 15, 2018 at 1:45 pm #67920IOANNIS MARKANTONAKISParticipantIs there a gallery plugin that doesn’t create double lightboxes? I am trying all these days and I have found only “Gallery by Supsystic” which is functioning ok….but it is too plain…..
March 16, 2018 at 12:16 am #67950wensolutionsKeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
Actually, we always encourage the user to use the default feature of the theme. We are even in no place to recommend any other third party plugin because we have not done any sorts of compatibility testing with the plugin and without the testing, we really could not say what works best with our theme.
So our recommendation to you is using the default gallery feature and if you like you can also consider hiring the professional developer so that you would get what exactly you want.
To hire a developer please refer to below link:

Hope this helps.

Have a good day 🙂 .

March 16, 2018 at 3:01 am #67959wensolutionsKeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
To make the gallery as like in the theme make sure you have choosen the option “Media File” in “Link To” option under GALLERY SETTINGS field after inserting your desired images in the gallery.
Hope this helps.

https://we.tl/TPyqrqBMFUI just want the lightbox seen on pic “2.jpg”
Is it possible?
March 18, 2018 at 10:40 am #68036wensolutionsKeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
When we tried to inspect your site URL, we were unable to find the gallery page to inspect further.
Since we have checked for the issue locally, we were unable to find any kind of such issue. So once try disabling any third party plugin that you have inserted one by one and check for issue. If the issues is resolved then you will know the exact plugin creating the the issue.
If the issue still persist then please provide the proper site URL for further inspection.
Thank you.
Best Regards!!
