    When I activate Travel Eye Child theme I get this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘-‘, expecting ‘(‘ in /home/snorkeli/public_html/testsite/wp-content/themes/travel-eye-child/functions.php on line 7

    Hello @paul614724 ,

    Actually we need to see the whole code included in child theme functions.php file to know the cause of error.

    The most appropriate option would be activating the child theme using the plugin below :

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-child-theme-generator/
