I have recently enabled google adsense page level ads in my wordpress site. Unfortunately i don’t have any control over the locations of ads to display. It collapsed my navigation manu bar (screenshot attached). In mobile, it works fine. Is there any way to restrict the ads to expand navigation menu height?

Actually we are not very clear where exactly the code for the google add is coming from.
Please properly explain whether you have added the code directly in your theme or used the plugins for this ? Also mention the file name if you have added the code to display the google add.
After having the required info , we will help look further into the issue and help you .
Hope you understand .
Best Regards!!

No, I’m not currently using any plugin to show ads. I have added google adsense verification code directly into the theme header.php file. There is a new option in google adsense called “page level ads”. I just enabled it to activate showing ads in all pages(we dont need to paste any other code in theme files). Then it started to show ads randomly. But the ads always targetting navigation menu and expand it.
Since “page level ads” is working fine in most of the site, I thought that it would be a problem with theme. Is there anything i need to modify?
June 14, 2017 at 7:47 am #45079wensolutionsKeymasterHello @venkadeshcivil,
Please do not directly add the code in any of the file. You always have to go through the child theme approach for any modification as the original modification wont be lost .
Now please mention the location that you want to display the google add so that we could help you through the use of child theme . If possible provide the screen shot mentioning the location that you want to display the google add .
Hope this helps .
Best regards!!
