I have this theme on a website. The side menu works fine everywhere except on iPhone. On iPhone, the menu is actually there, but cannot be seen. It appears to be white text on white background, even though in the wordpress development environment it looks fine. I cannot figure out how to fix.
The menu is there…. it is just not visible. Menu Items can be selected. I tried on Iphone 7, Chrome and Safari. It has something to do with Apple iPhone. I asked one of my friends to try it with an Android phone, and it works fine on their phone. The menu is actually there and configured properly, it is just something about how Apple iPhone displays the menu.
I noticed that when I open and then immediately close the menu on iPhone, the menu actually appears correctly as it slides back in. If you open and close it, sometimes you can briefly see it working. It takes practice, but it is there. Just can’t figure out why it doesn’t work normal.
HELP! I’ve spent 3 days on this now…..

Certainly baffling.
Thank you!!!
June 25, 2018 at 12:22 am #74340wensolutionsKeymasterHello @thegrandmerke,
When we inspected your site URL we found that you have used the plugin Mobile menu which is creating some other issues.
So please can you at first deactivate the mentioned plugin and re-inform us so that we can actually inspect the issue for the I-phone and help you further.
Thank you.
Regards!!
June 25, 2018 at 12:29 am #74341TheGrandMarkEParticipantHi – yes, thank you for the response. Actually, I was forced to add that mobile menu because I could not get the theme menu to work. It was not working before I added that plugin. Now with the mobile plugin active, the original theme menu sort of works – it at least opens and is visible, but slides off the screen.
I’d be happy to temporarily disable the mobile plugin if I know someone will be looking at it. Otherwise, I must keep it enabled so that my users can navigate the site on an iPhone.
You should be able to observe issues even with the mobile plugin active. Perhaps you can evaluate those issues and that will lead to a solution to where I can disable the mobile plugin?
Please advise. thanks! – Mark
June 25, 2018 at 12:41 am #74342TheGrandMarkEParticipantOk – I have temporarily deactivated the mobile plugin. The problem is still there. I will leave it deactivated for a few hours before I must either fix the problem or reactivate it.
Thanks!

When we inspected your site URL, the mobile menu was working fine even in I-phones as you can see in below given screen record:
You can even check the demo of the graduate:

So please can you explain the issue more precisely so that we can recreate them and find the solution.
Thank you 🙂
June 25, 2018 at 12:41 pm #74380TheGrandMarkEParticipantThank you for your response. Yes, I see in the video that it works in simulatation. It works thru WordPress too. However, you need to try and navigate the site using an actual iPhone 7. When you use the actual hardware, it does not work. I’ve tried on 3 different phones. It works fine on simulation, but not in reality.
I also tried your demo of the graduate, and my iPhone won’t load it at all. It is really messed up. I am not sure what is going on. I have rebooted my phone several times and tried both Safari and Chrome. The demo site starts loading fine, then completely messes up.
I wish there were some way for me to video my phone to show you. If I figure out how, I will.
Please try surfing with an actual iPhone 7. I will leave the plugin disabled for a while longer.
Thank you!

June 25, 2018 at 2:58 pm #74385TheGrandMarkEParticipantI learned how to video my screen. I captured the video. It is available here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AEzgWVn1RqPitvJNxCJp7ZNH8wmejI8G/view?usp=sharing
Notice how when I take my time and allow the menu to fully open and close, nothing is visible. But when I quickly hit the close button, the menu briefly appears as it retracts back in. I forgot to demonstrate that while the blank menu is open, items *can* be selected. The menu operates, it just cannot be seen.
Thoughts?
Thanks, – Mark
June 25, 2018 at 3:28 pm #74386TheGrandMarkEParticipantI re-enabled the mobile plugin just to demonstrate how the behaviour changes. I captured the video. It is available here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZUEOyLODfi6i3zkqVhtYHg7Gv8X3YWcM/view?usp=sharing
First, I demonstrate the mobile menu plugin and how it works. Then, I select the theme menu. Now, it opens up and is visible, but slide to the extreme right. There is no way to close the menu except to click on a menu option.
With the plugin, it is now visible, but also does not work properly. When I disabled the plugin again, it goes back to the behavior above. This is only on iPhone. It works fine on other mobile phones.
Thoughts?
Thanks, – Mark
June 25, 2018 at 10:04 pm #74403TheGrandMarkEParticipantSo, those are 2 videos that demonstrate the behavior we are seeing on multiple iPhones here.
Any ideas on how to fix? I need to re-enable the other plugin soon if I cannot get the built in menu to work.
Thanks!
– MarkJune 26, 2018 at 2:17 am #74411wensolutionsKeymasterHello @thegrandmerke,
We will definitely look for the issue in I-phone and release the update fixing the issue if found.
Hoping for the co-operations.
Thank you.

June 26, 2018 at 9:46 am #74422TheGrandMarkEParticipantThank you. Please contact me when this has been done. I must use the second mobile menu plugin until then, but would like to return to the theme menu as soon as you have it fixed. Please notify me when the patch is ready. Thanks!
– MarkJune 26, 2018 at 11:46 pm #74441wensolutionsKeymasterHello @thegrandmerke,
Yes we will definitely contact you as soon as the issue is fixed.
Thank you.

June 27, 2018 at 12:17 am #74446wensolutionsKeymasterHello @thegrandmerke,
Can you please once follow given steps to resolve the issue.
1. At first please deactivate the plugin “Digg Digg” and “Add to Any” plugins and verify.
2. If above does not work, here’s the quick fixing for the site:body { position: relative !important; }
If this does not solve the issue then please provide your login detail in the email address given below:
Thank you.
Regards!!
June 27, 2018 at 1:26 am #74448TheGrandMarkEParticipantTHANK YOU! I deactivated the “Digg Digg” and Mobile menu plugins, but since I use the “Add to Any” plugin, I did not want to disable it. I tried, and it did not work. Next I added the CSS, but that did not work either. Then I deactivated the “Add to Any” plugin, and it finally worked. I removed the CSS, and it still worked. Finally, I reactivated the “Add to Any” plugin, and it still works! So, I think I needed to deactivate and reactivate the “Add to Any” plugin, for whatever reason. I left the “Digg Digg” and Mobile menu plugins deactivated.
Thanks for your help! Hopefully this information will be helpful to you as well. I’m not sure what the conflict was.
Thanks!
