I have the same problem with Business Field Pro as #post-62855 the frontpage is incomplete, the bullets(widgets) under the header is not there, the header picture is narrow and will only accept a 1920 x 500 pics. I’ve used a lot of time on trying to make it look like the Pro Demo, actually I thought it would be easy as I got the impression that it as a “pre build “half an hour setup package”.
I’v installed the zip-file, activated it and downloaded and activated the two recommended plugins.
I’m working in crome.
I tried to follow the “how to setup front page as shown in the demo” from this tutorial: http://themepalace.com/instructions/themes/business-field-pro/ but I can’t follow the first steps in the tutorial for instance step 3 (landing page setup) and 3.1 (top header section) in the tutorial as I do not have the options “Header Options” and “Static Front page” under Apperance-Costumize…
3. Hover over “Appearance”
Click “Customize”
Go to Static Front Page.
From Static Front Page section
Choose “A static page” option under “Front page displays” title.
You will be able to set any page as a static front page and blog page as shown on the image below.
Click “Save & Publish” button to save chTop Header Section: This section is set up from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Header Options
Can you please help me? is something wrong with my installation?

Hello @volatile,
Initially, after the activation of the theme, it will just list the posts on the front page.
So to make your theme as in the demo you have to manage the Homepage setting by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage setting. At first you have to set “Your homepage displays” to “Static page” and then assign the pages for Homepage and Post Pages.
Also, since the theme is the widget based theme you can set different sections as in the demo by placing the required widget by going to Admin panel > Appearance > Customize > widget > front page Widget area.
Also for the slider go to Admin panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > Slider Type and chose the option Static Front page only in filed Enable Slider On.
You can find the Header Option in Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Header Option :

Hope this clears the confusion.
If you have any issues further, please let us know.
Also please post your issue creating your own ticket under the respective theme so that it would be easier for us to track down the issue and help you.
Thank you.

if I follow Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > I can only choose:
Site Identity
Header Image
background image
Theme options
Featured Slider
Color Options
Menues
Widgets
Additional CSS
Reset Theme SettingsWhat is wrong?Hopefully, You can help:-)
January 10, 2018 at 7:24 am #62896wensolutionsKeymasterHello @volatile,
You are not getting the Homepage setting option in the customizer may be because you don’t have at least 1 page published in your dashboard.
So at first create some pages like “Home”, “Blog” etc by going to Admin panel > Pages > Add New and published them. Then finally check wehther the option is available in your customizer field or not.

January 10, 2018 at 7:41 am #62897Arne Hejde NielsenParticipantI created a new page called “Home” and now the Homepage Setting and the other features shows :-). I’ve set the Home page to static and I found out about the demo slider:-).
So many of my problems is solved. Thank you so much. The theme came with a build-in “Home” page, but I can only see it in preview (I have two “home” pages now) and I cannot edit it. How do I remove the Home build-in page I can’t see in edit mode?
January 10, 2018 at 10:57 pm #62947wensolutionsKeymasterHello @volatile,
You can remove one of them by going to Admin Panel > Pages > All page. After deleting any one of it you can assign the remaining one in Homepage option by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
Have a good day 🙂 .
January 11, 2018 at 3:57 am #62975Arne Hejde NielsenParticipantI know:-) Problem is, that the “Home” page, the theme came with is invisible. I can only see one page in backend but two in frontend/preview/live version. If I delete the one I have in backend (Admin Panel > Pages > All pages), I cannot edit the remaining Homepage, because I can not see it.
January 11, 2018 at 7:14 am #62984wensolutionsKeymasterHello @volatile,
Can you provide your login detail so that we can inspect what exactly your issue is and set up the front page for you as in the demo?
Send your login detail in the Email given below:
Thank you 🙂 .

January 11, 2018 at 10:10 am #62999Arne Hejde NielsenParticipantThank you:) Done!
If I want to change the Header picture it still only allows me to upload a picture, that will be cropped for the narrow 1920 x 500 basic slider… is that normal? do I have to upload pictures by using Customizing ▸ Featured Slider-Slider Type every time?
Best Regards
January 11, 2018 at 11:07 pm #63054wensolutionsKeymasterHello @volatile,
Nice to know that your issue is solved.
In the theme, the featured slider can be set using the Post, Page, category, Tags, Custom Images.
For the “Image” option, You can upload the image for the slider by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > Slider type.
But in case if you chose the option Post/Categories/Tags, you have to change the image of the slider by going to individual post edit screen in featured Image section as the image in the slider comes from that section.
Similarly, in case of Page, you have to change the image by going to individual page edit screen.
Also as for the size of the slider, the slider will adjust its height according to the image uploaded.
Hope this clears the confusion.
Best Regards!!
January 12, 2018 at 3:34 am #63061Arne Hejde NielsenParticipantThank you 🙂
As agreed, I’ve send my login detail to support@wensolutions.com so you can inspect why I have two “Home” pages and set up the front page for you as in the demo (see thread above). Have you found out why the “Home” page, the theme came with is invisible and can not be edited or deleted? I can only see one page in backend but two in frontend/preview/live version. If I delete the one I have in backend (Admin Panel > Pages > All pages), I cannot edit the remaining Homepage, because I can not see it.
Best Regards
