Dear WenSolutions,
I’m now using the MediCleanPro theme together with SiteOrigin Plugin, which works well for making different layouts of the webpages on our site.
A question though. With Siteorigin I have tried to reduce vertical space between widgets but failed to do so. Padding can be increased but not decreased.
Is there something in the theme itself that controls the vertical space? If so, I was wondering if it is possibly preventing SiteOrigin settings from reducing space, and whether it can be fixed with CSS.
Perhaps this issue is known to you, if so, any advice you would like to share is most appreciated!
Kindest regards,
Anna

Since we have not done any sorts of compatibility testing of the plugin with the theme so we actually don’t have any idea whether it works well with the theme or not?
However, we will help you with some custom CSS so please link to the page you are referring to so that we can provide the precise fix.
Thank you.
Best Regards!!

It is more of a general question, how to be able to control space between elements/widgets on the entire site. So I’m not sure whether there is a fix for it, but appreciate your further advise.
The site is http://www.medicalimagingtechnologies.com/Thanks! Best regards,

When checked for the issue locally, we could not find such issue and the padding is working fine.
So please make sure to adjust the padding by going to edit page of the widget and save them.
Screesnhot:
You can even edit the padding of the row by going to edit screen of the row.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!

Thanks for your efforts.
I’m familiar with where to change the padding, however, I found that whatever number used does not have any impact/effect on the page layout.
Mostly I’m trying to change the space between two widgets in one cell, but maybe there is a way around this in SiteOrigin. When I have time will experiment.
Basically I just wanted to make sure that the ineffectiveness of padding changes is not due to any incompatibility between the theme and SiteOrigin, but I guess that is not the case, if other users are using this theme with Site Origin.
Cheers and best regards,

The option to change the space between two widget in a row is also available within the plugin.
For this, you simply need to go to row edit screen of that row. Here at right-hand side you will the option “Gutter” inside the option “layout”. Just add the no of px as per your requirement in the option “Gutter“.

Hope this helps.
