I would like to create a latest news section or featured section and would like to know how I can set up the 4 columns and then add photos and text which customers can click on to take them directly to the page?
Also Can you create a section like this on other pages without it going into a side bar? I would like to create columns so people can click and go straight to the info they require

WEN Corporate pro is a widget based theme that means you can simply put the widget you like in the frontage area.
As for the latest news section, go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Widget > Front Page Widget Area and add the widget Corporate: Latest News.
You can set this section by choosing the category of your choice. For Example: Create the posts as per your requirement from Admin Panel > Posts > Add New.
