I’ve tried emag theme a few months ago and try to post it and display it on the slider. But a few days ago I tried to make the latest posts and as usual when I want to make it appear as a slider, I tick the headline category. After I update, my post does not appear on the slider, just appear on the headline that is beside the slider.
Can you help me solve this problem? Thanks.Hello @cracitnow,
To make the post appear in the slider you have to assign the category to the post you have created at first . Then go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Home Main Slider > Setting Options and select the category that you have assigned to the post in the option Select Category For Slider.
Also make sure to upload the featured image in featured image section of particular post as the image in the slider comes from that section .

Sorry, but I’ve done all that.
But in the slider still with the old post, my latest post does not appear into the slider.can u help me with this?

As far as we have checked the theme locally it is working absolutely fine .
So please send us the Screen shot of the customization section setting so that we could inspect further and provide fix .

As you can see in the first picture, I’ve defined the slider category as “headline”, but my post titled “PEMBERIAN HONORARY POLICE DARI KAPOLDA JABAR” only appears right beside the slider.

And in the second picture, as it exists, I’ve given the category “headline” to my post.This thing I’ve done in the previous post in the last few months, and it works well. But some time ago I try to make a new post but nothing happened.

If you directly want your recently added post to display right side at first you need to activate the child theme .

After activating the child theme in your child theme functions.php file paste below given CSS.
