I would like to add a form to the contact page where people can sign up to receive their newsletter. How do I do that? I’m happy to use a plugin.

To add the form in the contact page, you can use the plugins as Contact Form 7 , design the form with the plugin and configure the form to the specific page by pasting the short code that you will receive with every new form.

Please paste the code in the respective page where you want the content to appear. For example, after creating a contact form, you will get a Short Code. Paste the Short Code in the Contact Us page and update the changes.

I want the newsletter signup on the contact page. So do I need go to ‘Customizing > Page Templates
> Contact Page’ and paste it in the ‘Contact Form Shortcode’ field ?I don’t understand how I tell it where on the page it should show up.
