Hello Wen,
Magazine Plus Pro will not update to the latest version?
http://hansvjensen.dk/Have tried many times. But no.
December 11, 2018 at 11:20 pm #86876wensolutionsKeymasterHello @hansvjensen,
You are not able to update to that latest version may be because your theme license has expired.
All our premium themes come with initial 1 year of Subscription. This means that you can download the updates and get private support forum access till 1 year of purchase date. But after one year, you will need to renew your subscription in order to continue downloading updates
So please check once your license expiry.
Thank you.
Regards!!

So the license code is per. year? Then it will be without me.
There were no issues updating on my other themes!
Regards,
Hans V. JensenDecember 12, 2018 at 3:57 am #86900wensolutionsKeymasterHello @hansvjensen,
Yes the purchased license expires within in a year of purchase but this subscription has nothing to do with the usages of the theme to your site. You can use it in your site as long as you want it without renewing your subscription.
As for the other theme(Pro version), the license may have not been expired yet so you could update to the latest version.
Hope this clears the confusion.
Thank you.
Regards!!

December 17, 2018 at 3:26 am #87302Hans V. JensenParticipantHelle Wen,
How do I remove the update bar?
It’s coming on all my sites with this theme.
December 17, 2018 at 10:54 pm #87337wensolutionsKeymasterHello @hansvjensen,
The bar has appeared in your admin panel because your theme license has expired. So in order to automatically remove the bar, you need to renew the license by buying the new theme and use the license from that theme.
Hope this clears the confusion.
If you have any query/confusion further then please let us know.
Thank you.
Best Regards!!
December 18, 2018 at 1:29 am #87345Hans V. JensenParticipantHello Wen,
It does not. Try to read the answer from you further up.
“Yes the purchased license expires within in a year of purchase but this subscription has nothing to do with the usages of the theme to your site. You can use it in your site as long as you want it without renewing your subscription.”
So you should also be able to completely remove that bar?
It’s annoying to look at each time you log in.December 18, 2018 at 1:49 am #87347wensolutionsKeymasterHello @hansvjensen,
The bar won’t cause any effect on your frontend. But there is nothing can be done for the message that keeps on displaying on the backend as this how all the themes and plugins is developed. It is included to work as the reminder.
Thank you.
Regards!!
November 22, 2022 at 4:59 pm #187053RogerParticipantI tried to update this theme, but the update failed.
I found that the failure was due to my licence expiring.
Should I have received some notification that the licence had expired?
I would have renewed it beforehand…..
How do I get notified – apart from setting my own reminder!!! -
