Hi, so I bought the wen associate pro theme because I wanted to change the orange color in the theme with red without having to modify css, but actually, it’s a totally different template, the whole layout went banans, the colors, even the menu, everything is different from the wen associate. The home page does not shows the static page I selected, etc…
I’m really disappointed, I just wanted an upgrade of the free theme, not a totally different theme.
So please I would like a refund.
thanks!
February 16, 2017 at 1:06 am #32426wensolutionsKeymasterHello @ivanturatti
Sorry for the trouble you are having.
WEN Associate Pro has the multiple feature that is not included in the free version of the theme.
The pro version of the theme also has the varieties of color options for different sections.
Also as we have checked the theme locally, Static front page option works properly.
So please once verify the setting by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Static Front page and assign the pages you want for the front page and posts page.
Hope this helps.
If you have any confusion further or any issue regarding the theme you can always post them and we will help you happily.
Best Regards!!

1- home page (even setting static as you say) says:
“You are viewing this because there is no any widgets to be displayed in front page. Please add widgets in ‘Front Page : Main’. Other widget areas available for front page are ‘Front Page : Lower Left’, ‘Front Page : Lower Right’ and ‘Front Page : Bottom’. Go to Appearance->Widgets in admin panel to add widgets.”

2- inner page: I don’t manage to make all the content box in the same “brownish” color

3- menu: the font size and options of the two versions are totaly different, I tried to change colors and uppercase manaully the menu voices, but still the line between one voice and the other in the basic version is white in the pro is grey, and I don’t manage to do the hover-link white but the hover underline red.

so… or you manage to help me solving this issue in the next 24h or my boss is going to freak out and we will need a refund because I told him that buying the pro version would have fastened up the whole website creation process… instead is getting slower and more difficult.
February 16, 2017 at 3:40 am #32448wensolutionsKeymasterhome page /static page
After choosing static front page, yes, as per the instruction, you need to re-setup the widgets in ‘Front Page : Main’ sidebar from Appearance > Widgets section. Also, you can confirm if the already setup custom widgets are under the Inactive Widgets area in this section. If they present there, you can simply drag and drop on the ‘Front Page : Main’ sidebar .
Could you please activate the Pro version for the time being we inspect your website as check out those issues? as currently site has free theme activated.
February 16, 2017 at 4:03 am #32451ivanturattiParticipantok now the pro theme is active…
I also did the thing you told with the widgets, but the home content is not appearing, all the page is just widgets.
February 16, 2017 at 5:09 am #32453wensolutionsKeymasterWEN Associate Pro homepage is a complete widgetized homepage therefore you need to personalize your homepage with available custom widgets from Widgets section. This means, theme homepage is not designed to support the plain content display from the page you set as homepage.
So your homepage layout would be nearly look like the demo http://demo.wenthemes.com/wen-associate-pro.
February 16, 2017 at 7:43 am #32459ivanturattiParticipantYes, I understand that, but I don’t want that, I want the exact same layout we had with the free one. I just made the upgrade change the organge color without having to have a childtheme or messing the css every update…
so please just tell me how to be refounded I’ll dinsintall the pro version and use the free one, that actually is easier to use and works better.
thanks!
February 17, 2017 at 1:26 am #32545wensolutionsKeymasterHello @ivanturatti,
We apologize for all the confusions.
As we have analyzed your issues / requirements, we believe that you want the simple layout of the front page that you have with the free version of the theme without using the widgets.
It is possible to set the layout of the theme to be simple without the use of widgets in the front page even with the pro version of the theme.
To resolve the issue, please provide us your WordPress Backend login credentials to our official support email : support[at]wensolutions.com so that we can log into your site and setup the exact layout you have used with the pro version of the theme.
Thank you for the patience,
Best Regards !!
