    Hi there,
I am a freelance writer and I use Myself Pro to showcase my published work.
I currently use Posts to do this (I have renamed this Category to Portfolio). My work is here: http://www.tomprince.com.au/portfolio/

In addition to showcasing my work, I would like to publish blogs. I would like to differentiate these blog posts from existing portfolio items. This means retaining separate identities for the two forms of content.

    * I understand I can create a new and separate Posts category called [Blog]. E.g. http://www.tomprince.com.au/blog/blog-post-blah-blah/. I would then create a new menu item called Blog with this URL http://www.tomprince.com.au/blog/

    * However, I want my sidebar widgets to display only [/portfolio/] posts (e.g. here http://www.tomprince.com.au/portfolio/).
How can I isolate /portfolio/ and /blog/ posts from each other? I do not want both /blog/ and /portfolio/ posts to appear in the sidebar widget or as proposed next articles (e.g. in the article footer here http://www.tomprince.com.au/portfolio/racv-marine-winterising-a-boat-motor-fact-or-fiction/).

    * If Myself Pro does not support separate streams for posts in the way described, what is your recommended and practical solution?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Regarding your query about the two separate pages for the two blogs, which is not possible. You have selected a portfolio category as a blog page to appear in the front page section. You can not select two blog pages on one homepage setting. To get as per your requirement, it requires core code customization. You can consider hiring a freelancer or our professional developer.

About sidebar widgets, after you select widgets you will see the sidebar displaying in the archive page and other pages too.

    Hope this helps.

If you have further queries, let us know.

    Thank you.
