September 25, 2019 at 4:05 pm #106757yondermann ParticipantHi,
Not sure if this works as intended or there is some bug but the site <title> is replaced by the title tag on the front page. The rest of the pages work fine and the <title> is displayed according to the main wordpress and/or seo plugin settings.
Is this intentional? IF so then how can I disable it.
The site in question is: https://www.robertcrow.photos/Thanks! September 26, 2019 at 12:21 am #106766wensolutions KeymasterHello We are not quite clear about your query. Individual pages gets the title from the page title and in the front page, the title and tagline comes from the site identity section in the customizer. Screenshot : https://prnt.sc/pb323n Can you please explain your query further so that we can inspect precisely ? Regards! September 26, 2019 at 6:21 am #106789yondermann ParticipantThanks for getting back so quickly!
My problem is that on the front page the <title> is showing the “tagline” instead of the “Site title” and I can’t change it.
The rest of the pages are showing as <title> the individual article’s title along with the “site title” as it should be but for some reason the front page shows the “tagline”.
https://prnt.sc/pb73zaI use SEO Framework plugin to set the title tags on individual pages but if I turn off the plugin the same problem persist. The only difference without the plugin is that the “Site title” and “tagline” are all shown as <title> on the front page. All the theme built-in WordPress has this feature. You can check the other theme built-in WordPress as well. Hope this clears the confusion. Thank you. Thanks again! September 27, 2019 at 4:41 am #106844wensolutions Keymaster
