    I am redesigning a site and have enabled the slider in the Construction Base free version, but it does not appear on the homepage or anywhere else. Is this a bug or is there more that I need to do?

    Currently shows: Featured Slider > Static Front Page Only

    Hello @ljws,

    When we checked the theme locally the featured slider is working absolutely fine .

    To enable the slider go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > featured Slider > Slider Type and chose the option Static Front Page only in the option Enable Slider . Since Featured slider can be set using pages, select the appropriate page that you want to display .

    Make sure you have uploaded the images in Featured image section of each page as the image in the slider comes from that section .

    Also please set you front page displays to static page by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page .Select the Home page to for Front Page and Blog page for Blog Post .

    Hi @wensolutions
    I have a bit of a dumb question with this – where do i find the ‘featured image’ section of each page??
    I’m currrently testing this theme in the live preview just to make sure it is possible to replicate. Sometime the demos are not like the actual site – but have found your info doc incredibly helpful. Just not sure where the featured image section is..
    Assuming once i upload an image to that.. it will feed through into home page slider?

    The Feature image section is in the individual page edit screen . Please refer to below screen shot .

    Thanks @wensolutions! Also – what size image would you advise that suits the slider on home page, and the feature image section? #newbie

    Hello @nic5790,

    The recommended size of the featured slider image is given below .

    Slider Image : 1920px X 800px

    You can find the recommendation even in Featured image section of page edit screen.

    Thanks for the reply WenSolutions. The Featured Image part was what I was missing – I either missed that in the instructions or it may not have been clear that it goes in that spot. Thanks!
