    Hello

    Two questions:

    1. I use the social icons that are within the “Bottom Section”, is it possible to open the associated URL in a new tab when the icon is clicked?

    2. What are the “Social Links” option in the theme? How are they used and where are they displayed?

    Hello @erniepope,

    To get the feature to open the associated URL in a new tab you have to go through the child theme approach.

    Below is the link of the plugin you can use to create and activate the child theme.

    After creating and activating the child theme, in your child themes functions.php paste below given code.

    And social link option is used through the widget. In the widget area you can find the widget TP:Social Icon. Those social link will appear where ever you place the widget TP:Social Icon.
    The setting of the social links is available in Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Social Links > Social Links . You can input the links for your required link only.
