Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Signify Pro.

ThemepalaceMarch 20, 2022 at 11:45 pm #180080sanamKeymasterHello, @ML-STARK Could you please check whether the theme license is active or not. If it is not then the reason might be due to the expiration of the license key which you have to renew to update the theme.
If that is not the issue then we will help you from our end.

March 22, 2022 at 1:36 pm #180125ml-starkParticipantHello Sean, greetings and thanks for your reply. My theme license is active until September 2022, so the problem can’t be there.
What is your next advice and can you help?
Thanks a lot

The license question did make me think and it was correct that the license was assigned to my previous domain name. After I deactivated the license and added the new domain name, the update went smoothly. So everything is working now.
Thanks for your help and support.
Best Regards
