Is there a video tutorial available for Photo Perfect?
I have the basic (free) package and want to see how it all works.
TIA
May 18, 2017 at 12:09 am #42749wensolutionsKeymasterHello @lol,
We do not have the video tutorial for the Photo Perfect theme .
But we still do have the themes official documentation which will guide you to set up your theme .
Also, if you find any difficulty while setting up the sections, you can post them here and we will happily assist you further .
Hope this helps .
Best Regards!!!
May 25, 2017 at 8:15 pm #43387LOLParticipantJust spent an hour or so trying to work out how to get my home page layout exactly the same as the sample you use in your marketing but I cannot see how to do it.
Can you help me?
I want to set-up a similar layout to the sample with 5 images (one larger central image surrounded by 4 smaller ones) that all link to internal pages.Cheers
LOLMay 25, 2017 at 8:16 pm #43388LOLParticipantAnd while we are at it can you please advise how I can set up an e-mail for Photographer@domainname.com?

May 26, 2017 at 1:45 am #43395wensolutionsKeymasterHello @lol,
To set up the front page as in the theme demo at first you need to set your Front page displays to Your latest posts by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page.
As the theme only display 5 recent post you can control the no post to display by going to Admin Panel > Settings > Readings > Blog pages show at most .
To show the image vertically you have to upload the image of size 436*600. Also to show the page exactly in the demo i.e vertical image at the middle you have to maintain the order of the post as well . Place the post with the vertical image at second . Refer to screen shot for proper info .

Hope this helps.

May 29, 2017 at 9:36 pm #43614LOLParticipantSorry but none of this has been of any help to me.
I have spent far too long on something that should be relatively simple.
I am beginning to think that the first page – posts is some sort of table. Can you recommend some other theme that is easier to understand please?
Not much point if I cannot get past page 1.
Cheers
LawrenceMay 30, 2017 at 12:21 am #43619wensolutionsKeymasterHello @lol,
At first we would like to apologize for the inconveniences.
Photo Perfect is an ideal theme for photography and theme is very easy to customize.
So, please once make sure you have followed the above mentioned steps to set up the front page .
Also post your site URL for further inspection so that we could inspect your problem and provide further suggestions.
Hope this helps .
Best Regards!!
May 31, 2017 at 10:01 pm #43942LOLParticipantYes that is what you keep telling me!
I have been using the WP platform for 10 years and never had a problem explaining what I want.PLEASE NOTE I am not a CSS expert and very much a wysiwyg person – which is what WP is all about.
I am attaching a screen shot of the page that you promote Photo Perfect on and I would like something similar for my home page.
So let me be clear:
I want a header – that I seem to be able to do
I want some photos only on my home page with each photo being a link to internal pages – exactly how your promotion page works.
I presume your promotional homepage is a static page of latest blog posts. Cool I get that but I don’t get how you have 5 photos arranged this way.
If my second post is a vertical image at the size you suggested (423×600 pixels or something to that effect) then what are posts 1, 3, 4 and 5?My page is http://www.focusonportraits.co.nz but there is nothing there so not sure how that is going to be of any use to you in helping me.
It shouldn’t be this hard if it is ” very easy to customize”
Well I can’t seem to attach a photo here and the reply I sent you from G-mail said your email address couldn’t be located.
What a jokeJune 1, 2017 at 2:21 am #43961wensolutionsKeymasterHello @lol,
When we have inspected your site we did not find any post published .
So please create the posts with the featured image uploaded and published them . Create the second post with the vertical image uploaded as we have mentioned in earlier replies . And for rest of the post you can upload the image your choice as your requirement.
Let us know if you have any confusion further .
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
June 1, 2017 at 7:15 pm #44068LOLParticipantRight – it is now updated as follows.
I made 5 posts with the Post #2 having the image at the required size. This is the result:
http://focusonportraits.co.nz/June 2, 2017 at 12:42 am #44097wensolutionsKeymasterHello @lol,
Upon inspecting your site we found that you have not uploaded the images in the posts you have created .
So please upload the image in Featured image section of the post by going to particular post edit screen.

June 2, 2017 at 5:22 pm #44166LOLParticipantWhen I go to posts I don’t have the option of an image area on the right.
Either I am very stupid or your explanation has missed a vital first step.
Is that title of “Gallery View” the blog title?
Is the image box a widget? It would help if you assume I am starting from scratch and know nothing (which is true about this theme).
So an explanation along the lines of:
Posts> add new> insert tile> Insert content> add media > select media> edit media> OK etc.June 4, 2017 at 2:29 am #44225wensolutionsKeymasterHello @lol,
If you don’t have the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image option in your Screen Options at the top right corner .
Screen shot :
https://image.prntscr.com/image/7b0aba437c07442286b209803668cc45.pngAlso “Gallery View” is the post title . You can change the title of the post as per your post requirement . The featured image section is actually not the widget but the custom field provided by the WordPress. And to make them appear you have to check the field Feature Image in screen option as mentioned above .
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
