    Thanks for your assistance. I was able to install a plugin “Classic Editor” to override the recently implemented Gutenberg editor. This has allowed us to go back to editing in the format we prefered. Hope this helps others.

    I did check to confirm that I have no additional 3rd party plug-ins that have been added. The few add-ins I did have from the beginning do not seem to be the cause. Every page is as shown in my initial post – tons of blank space and then the area you can edit it but it does not show all of the contents without using the horizontal slider bar. What should I check next to figure out the issue?
