(Since a recent theme update) I’ve notice the area used to edit my pages has decreased drastically. I can’t even see the full contents at one time. It does update to the live website fine, but difficult to work with such a small working area. Any insight as to how to fix to be wider would be appreciated.

When we check for the issue on our side, the editor is working fine i.e it is full width.
So please once check if you have activate any third party plugin that might have cause the issue.

I did check to confirm that I have no additional 3rd party plug-ins that have been added. The few add-ins I did have from the beginning do not seem to be the cause. Every page is as shown in my initial post – tons of blank space and then the area you can edit it but it does not show all of the contents without using the horizontal slider bar. What should I check next to figure out the issue?

Actually, the issue is not related to the theme. It is the WordPress that has come up with the new editor.
The editor on our side:
Please mention the screen size that you are currently using as the larger screen size may have resulted in such editor.
