I have been researching the same issue since this is something I would like to achieve also. I find it a little frustrating that each new page added after installing the theme carries the same header image and it very limited in its edit-ability. For example, it seems impossible to edit the side bar of other pages than the home page. I seem to be able to set the layout of each page as having a sidebar or not, etc., but only seem to be able to edit the main content. I do not seem to be able to edit the sidebars, or even to be able to add a widget to them.
It seems we need to create a new page.php file and load this into the site, then specify this when creating a new page. I am new to WordPress, themes and CSS and this is currently beyond my capability, but am working on it.
I am not so sure that this would take Theme Palace very long to do, but goes beyond a quick fix and therefore they are using this to drive extra revenue through site customization services.
If I find a fix that works, I will post it here.
