jwk-bixParticipantFor what it’s worth, I installed the theme on a second site and looked at the live preview (I didn’t activate the theme as it’s a production site) – the same problem also occurs on that site. Could there be a general problem with this version of the theme? Both sites are on WordPress 4.5.3

.site-title, .site-title a { text-align: left; margin-top: 10px; font-size: 26px; }
The problem remains…jwk-bixParticipantI’ve deactivated ALL plugins, and still have the problem. (Not as bad – now only 30% of the banner is hidden). Resizing the browser window causes the full height of the banner to be displayed.
jwk-bixParticipantI have deactivated and deleted several plugins which I didn’t use including one with a similar name (WP fade in text news), and tested again. The problem is still happening.
