First of all thank you very much for the appreciation.
Latest Version of WordPress has added the custom field of Additional CSS where you can add your additional css i.e the editor is now part of WordPress itself.
You can find the additional CSS in location Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS .

We have inspected the issue through the video you have shared with us.
Upon inspection, the issue seems to be the White screen of death issue and customizer is not lading due to some kind of conflicts.
To debug the issue further, please follow the steps below :
- Set WP_DEBUG() to true
Please check the issue by setting WP_DEBUG() true in your wp-confif.php file to see if any errors are shown in the customizer section. If any errors are shown please provide us details on the error so that we can debug further. For more info check the link here : https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Debug
- Check By deactivating Plugins
Please check the issue by deactivating your plugins one by one to see if the issue is caused by theme / plugin conflicts.

Yes it is possible to change the transition duration of the testimonial section.
For this you need to activate the child theme .

To set up the front page as in the theme demo at first you need to set your Front page displays to Your latest posts by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page.
As the theme only display 5 recent post you can control the no post to display by going to Admin Panel > Settings > Readings > Blog pages show at most .
To show the image vertically you have to upload the image of size 436*600. Also to show the page exactly in the demo i.e vertical image at the middle you have to maintain the order of the post as well . Place the post with the vertical image at second . Refer to screen shot for proper info .

We do not have the video tutorial for setting up the sections but the theme official documentation will help you set the front page as shown in the theme demo .

For your information whatever URL you have in your Settings > General > WordPress Address (URL) will be your address URL . So it should not make any difference or generate any issue .

We are not very clear that you completely want to remove the Chicken Entrees menu from the site or you simply want to remove it from this particular page .
If you completely want to remove them then you can go to Admin Panel > Food Menu > Menu items and delete the Chicken Entrees .
IF you want the menu item to simply remove it from this particular page then you can use the CSS given below .
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.
.page-id-14 .menu-items:nth-of-type(2) { display: none; }Hope this helps .

As we have already mentioned in earlier reply if we change the width of the slider then it will mess up the design of the site . So only factor that can be adjusted here without any design issue is height .

To show specific menu you don’t have to edit Menu Page Template .
For this you can simply create the menu category by going to Admin Panel > Food Menus . Add menu items in the category created and save them .
Now you will have the specific menu that you have created in the page where you have assign the menu page template .

The width of the slider cannot be reduced as it will mess up the design. Upload the image of standard width as given in the theme .
If you want to upload the image with 115px height i.e(30mm) then you can upload the image of size 1255 X 115 px . Here 1255px is standard width of the slider .

The link you have provided is add on of WooCommerce which you can definitely use .
But if you need any extra functionalities it requires higher code customization and the theme doesn’t support this customization and, as much as we would love to help with some custom code, this is beyond the support offered for our products, which consists of bug fixing and theme documentation.
