To set up top header section on the right as in the screenshot, please go to your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Menus.Then create two menus: one your Desired menu and add Items in the desired menu as per your requirement.
Next is Social Menu and add custom social links as per your requirement.

Then verify whether you have checked the option to show the social icon by going to Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options>Header Options.

To fix the issue of the menu please use below CSS.
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance < Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.

The background image is not shown in the front page because you are using widget section and in widget section background image wont apply . Background image is only shown in the content area .
But you still have the option to change the the background color for the widget area.
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Color Options > Home Widget Color Options and change to desired color.

To enable the team section You need to install the plugin given below.

Now for the event gallery you can use the SNAPWIDGET as shown in the demo .

The theme does not have the feature to change the columns layout .And as much as we would love to help with some custom code, this is beyond the support offered for our products.

You can change the text through the child theme approach.
