As the title / Content of the posts you have used in the news section is not equal for all the posts and the section itself takes height as per the contents, the news items are not perfectly aligned as a “square” layout.

However, you can try using the following Custom CSS in your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to change the layout of the posts to display it in the single column format :

    width: 100%;
}
.news-post img {
    width: 30%;
    float: left;

The feature to customize the menu / navigation colors is the pro feature of the University Hub Pro theme and is not available in the free version of the University Hub theme.

we can only help you with the quick CSS for the background color that can be pasted in your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Ciustomize > Additional CSS :

#main-nav {
    background: #9faaec none repeat scroll 0 0;

}

You can change the “#9faaec” color code to the color hex of your desired color.

You can also choose to upgrade to pro version of the University Hub Pro theme that already provides a wide range of color options through the customizer for individual sections along with more amazing features. First of all thank you very much for using our theme.

The WordPress latest version i.e 4.7 has a default Additional Custom CSS section in the Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS . All the custom CSS can be implemented through this section .

So as the WordPress provide this options of additional CSS field , Advanced option section is removed for the latest version of the WordPress .

The section you are referring is footer widget area.

You can manage the footer widget area by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Widgets and place the widget you want in four different footer widget area i.e Footer Widget 1, Footer Widget 2, Footer Widget 3, Footer Widget 4.

The widget settings available in the “CC: Products Slider” widget already has the feature to change the image size in the slider. Also, you have mentioned that you have tried using the size with image blur issue. We will check and verify the issue in the theme latest version and will fix if the issue exists in the theme.

Meanwhile, for a quick fix for the issue please paste in the following custom CSS in your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS that will help you decrease the slider size for your current slider settings :

    width: 46%;
}

.clean_commerce_widget_products_slider .product-caption .product-title a {
    font-size: 21px;

}
