July 11, 2016 at 2:21 pm #12495Brentnow ParticipantI wish to remove the header area (currently white space with a logo) on my Education Hub Pro theme. See section #2 on the example here.
I’ve attempted to change custom-header.php, but that doesn’t change anything. I will be having my website name be on the featured image (slider block) under the navigation menu (#3 on linked page). Can anyone help? Would this be a change to the css?July 11, 2016 at 2:32 pm #12496wensolutions Keymaster@Brentnow, can you please post in your site URL so that we could refer your queries against it ? It would be quite helpful for us to give you the possible solution on it. Thank you. July 11, 2016 at 4:08 pm #12497Brentnow ParticipantMy site is a real estate site. And the top portion is nearly identical to your excellent example here. Since I’m using the slider block image with my website name on it, I do not need the header area. Thank you. July 11, 2016 at 11:46 pm #12511wensolutions KeymasterHello @Brentnow To remove the header area (currently white space with a logo) you need to add custom CSS.
For this you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Theme Options / Advanced Options.
Here you need to copy and paste below CSS.header#masthead { display: none; }Hope this will help you to resolve your query.
Let us know how it goes.Regards!!! July 12, 2016 at 12:45 am #12514Brentnow ParticipantFantastic! That worked perfectly! CHEERS!!!July 12, 2016 at 4:48 pm #12555Brentnow ParticipantAnd do you have a similar css fix to exclude #1 in your example? A hopefully the breadcrumb area as well can be excluded (which, even though I have it switched off, it appears to leave some white space there). Thank you. July 12, 2016 at 11:56 pm #12571wensolutions KeymasterHello @Brentnow You can add below custom CSS in above mentined section to remove #1 as you have mentioned. #tophead { display: none; }Hope this will help you.
