When I active the pro theme my pages break. My sidebars either go under the main body content or disappear. 3 columns of text appear on the home page and push everything down.

Best regards.September 8, 2016 at 9:19 am #17204September 9, 2016 at 12:30 am #17270wensolutionsKeymasterHello @mlevine3@esu.edu
Thanks for you query.
Ok for your knowledge the pro theme comes with additional more feature which are not available in pro version. So additional section may appear.
However you will get an easy option to disable those section or change the content of those section.
Now as you were referring about the 3 column text, to disable or change the content of these section you need to go to
Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Featured Content / Featured Content Type..
From here you can do the required changes. You can check other more settings as well in Customizer section.
And about your sidebar query about broken can you explain in more detail.
Hope this will help you.
Best Regards!!!

So as not to disrupt the live page, I made a copy of the website so I can work out the bugs of the pro version. The test site is http://quantum.esu.edu/test_theme/ and I want it to look like this site http://quantum.esu.edu/commencement/.

September 26, 2016 at 10:30 am #18839jschmittParticipantI have just installed wordpress and uploaded/installed the education hub pro. When I go to activate the theme, I get the message license status is unknown.
September 26, 2016 at 12:27 pm #18846jschmittParticipantI believe I know why activation is not successful. Our main website is being hosted by a third party. I installed word press on a new server located on site. Currently, I’m using just our private IP address, and don’t have our hostname to use at this time. Not sure if there is a work around this or not, but if so, I was planning on building our new site before having the DNS updated to point back to our internal server.
September 26, 2016 at 12:37 pm #18847wensolutionsKeymasterWell, just make sure that you haven’t activated your license key in more than one domain or host or installation.
If it’s just the first time installation but still having license activation issue, you need to talk to your hosting, just in case whether it has blocked the IP of Theme Palace server.
Normally, your license key should be activated.
