Yesterday I change the Header image to display within the Site Identity of the Home page. However, today it only displays a color and I cannot get the default image or any other image to display. Is there a setting that I have checked that I am not aware of?
September 20, 2016 at 11:58 pm #18141wensolutionsKeymasterHello @MichelleG,
The header image in the theme is only set from the site identity in the theme customizer. The default image should set in the header if no other image is selected in this section.
Please post in your site URL so that we can further inspect your issue and provide a precise solution.
Best Regards !!

The only changes I made yesterday were adding a plug-in of MailChimp and activating it.
September 21, 2016 at 11:59 pm #18373wensolutionsKeymasterHello @MichelleG,
Upon inspecting your site the image link uploaded in the header background is found to be broken.
The solid color seen currently in your site header is the default fallback color applied in the section in case the case when image set in the header section under Costomizer > Site Identity is not found / broken link.
To resolve your issue, please check the site identity section and verify that the image is properly uploaded. Also try removing the image currently uploaded and replace with freshly uploaded image.
Please let us know how it goes,
Best Regards !!

September 28, 2016 at 7:58 am #19042MichelleGParticipantAfter re-installing the theme and adding everything back into the site. I now cannot change the Header image that is within the site. It only shows the default image no matter what I try to change the image to. Is there some tips on how to troubleshoot this issue. My site is now http://www.michelleguerra.com.
The header file name I am using is Header-meet.png, however it does not show up on the web page only the default picture is showing.

September 29, 2016 at 1:19 pm #19331wensolutionsKeymasterThat was found to be the compatibility issue of upload with the latest WordPress version 4.6.1.
We have released the new updated version 2.0 resolving this issue.
Now, please try to upload your header image from Customizer -> Header Image section which should work now.
September 29, 2016 at 6:02 pm #19362MichelleGParticipantI have downloaded and updated the version of the theme. However, it is still not fixed. I have sent another email to support to let you see the 2 photos that I have uploaded, but they are not showing in the website at all. Only the default is showing and it won’t change.

I’Ve the same problem with version 2.0 – I cannot change the Header background. Is there any solution?
kind regards
Carsten
October 9, 2016 at 9:12 am #20390wensolutionsKeymasterHello, @Carsten Meyer,
The header image display issue discussed in this tread was found to have occurred due to the conflict between the settings between the individual page header image setting in the page edit screen and the global header image setting in Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Header Image.
If you had already set a banner image in the page edit screen of the page that you arecurrenty using as the front page, before the using the customizer option, the image might not be displayed, as the page meta is not overwritten by the customizer.
To resolve the issue, please try creating a fresh new page and setting it as the front and then try changing the header image from the Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Header Image.
If the approach does not resolve your issue, please write back to us with your site URL so that we can look further in your issue.
Hope this helps !!
Best Regards !!
